Alex's pov
The monsters that had only just arrived beat on the very sturdy wall of bones. I look back at Emily who looks exhasted, yet continues to fight. Each kill gives her more energy, so she was slowly coming back around. I smirk and turn to a very eneraged primordal.
Chaos walks forward, black and purple tendrils holding End in place, though they don't look strong enough. I've got him in place, don't worry Father. I tell him.
Vines shoot up and wrap around End's legs, holding him fast.
He glares at me and I get the message, You will die very soon. I stand up straighter just to annoy him. His glare intensifies again.
I shrug.
End lunges at me, but more vines wrap around him, holding him in place.
"Would you ever so kind to leave my daughter and Commander alone?" Chaos asks.
End glares at me one last time, making my skin crawl, but I don't show it, and moves his glare to his brother.
"Release me at once, little brother." End snarls.
"That's up to my Commander. Alexandria?" He asks, looking back at me.
Really, Father? I link him. He smirks.
I look straight at End. I see something there in his eyes that I've never seen there. It seemed so foriegn there against all the hatred and anger, almost vulnuable.
I blink. "I think I'll leave him there, Father." I say, looking back at Chaos.
"There you have it, brother." Chaos says to End.
End tries to lunge at Chaos, but more vines shoot from the Earth and wrap around him, bringing him to his knees.
"How is Dad anyway?"
"I killed him last time he crossed my path..." End snarls.
Chaos shakes his head. "I told him to stay home... Did you really have to pull him in with you?"
"He was standing close." End shrugs.
"Well, I'm going to get on with this. Alex, if you would add some more vines to his arms, maybe we'll avoid another pull in."
I nod quickly and allow more vines to erupt from the blood stained dirt. They pull his hands down to the ground.
Chaos begins to chant in a language that sounds older than Ancient Greek. I didn't understand a word, yet I knew the general meaning of it. Void, you are needed once again to rid this world of evil and old.
A black portal opens behind him, and it works much like Taartarus's vaccum on his face, but it had no pull on us. Only End and the large ball of now melting ice. The giants and Titans were sucked in as well.
I release my hold on the vines and relax slightly. The monsters were trying beating on the wall of bones, trying to escape.
I grab my bow and an arrow from my never emptying quiver. I tap the ground with my right foot and a stump appears, lifting me up alittle way above everyone's head. I squat down and start shooting down the monsters. The battle starts again.
I feel my energy deminishing, but I keep fighting. Everyone else goes before me, no one behind.
A/N Night people!
