Percy's pov

Hephatitus cabin was working in Bunker Nine with Leo, making more weapons and armor. Charles Becendorf was with them.

The Hunters of Artemis had joined us as well and was with the Apollo cabin, making silver bows and arrows because Alex had informed them the wolves would be there as well, along with their king. Word was Orion was back and working with them, keen on destroying the Hunters for good.

Speaking of Alex, she should be here any moment.

I look along the beach, trying to figure out where she'll appear.

A portal opens and I rush forward. I help statian it while the demigods get through.

Only sixteen. Reyna lead them wearily. Finally Alex steps through, looking exhasted and disucted.

"Percy... good to see you again..." Reyna says, trying to stand straight like the pracatior she is. It's easy to tell she can't hold it together much longer.

I set a hand on her shoulder. "It'll be alright, Reyna."

She looks up at me, in the eye, and I can see all of the fear and worry for her people. "No, Percy, it's not alright. I-I failed them... a-all of them."

"You didn't fail all of them, Reyna." I say. "Come on, their sacrifice was their choice Reyna. They still need you." I gesture to the other fifteen demigods who looked seriously uncomfortable and paniced.

  Reyna sighs. "You're right..."

"We set up an extra cabin. It's up to you if you want to fight or not, we won't make you."

"I'm fighting. There is no way I'll stand down, not when so many gave their lives... protecting me..." She whispers the last part.

"Hey, Reyna." Annabeth says, walking forward. Reyna looks at her in confusion.

  "Uh, didn't you-?"

"Die? Yes. I'll explain everything on the way to your cabin. Come on, please." Annabeth says. The demigods file after her.

  I turn to Alex.

"It... was horrible..." Alex whispers. "I've never... so many dead..."

I pull her into a tight hug. "It's alright..."

I see an image that Alex sends me.

New Rome was in ruins. Bodies were everywhere. Some were bent into positions that no live person could make. I recongized some too.

I blink, seeing Alex's hair in my sight instead.

"I-I'm sorry... I d-didn't mean to... show you that..." She whispers, turning around.

"Alex, it's okay." I tell her.

"No! No, it is not okay! Percy, you saw all of that!"

She wraps her arms around herself as she looks over the water. "Ale-"

"Percy!" I hear Leo call. I turn to see him running towards us. I hear Alex start walking away, then I hear a quiet sob.

My eyes widen as I turn around to see her running off. "Alex, please!" I shout after her.

She glances back and I caan see tears running down her face. She keeps running.

"What the Hades just happened?" Leo asks, looking very worried.

"New Rome. She had gone to get the remaining Romans and she saw the carnage. It was ruins and only sixteen remained. Reyna is pretty shaken up as well." I say quickly.

  "So, a panic attack?"

  I nod.

"Chiron wants to see you, I'll go find Alex, alright?" Leo says.

I'm reluctant and he knew it. "I'll take care of your sister, Percy, I wouldn't dream of letting anything happen to her. You know that."

"Fine..." I sigh. I run off towards the big house, praying Alex will be okay.
