"So...care to share the reason why you've been sulking lately?"
You furrowed your brows and turned to Celeste. "I have not."
"You sure have. What's got you driven up the wall?" the redhead asked, setting her chin in her open palm and quirking a defined eyebrow up in curiosity.
"I'm pretty sure I can answer that. And I'm positive it's someone rather than something," Soomi piped.
"Don't be nasty. It's obviously something serious. She's been like this all week," Miori scolded.
"It's nothing, really," you said, stuffing a pillow in the pillowcase roughly.
"Your body says otherwise," Soomi stated. "And your face, and your actions."
"Unfortunately, I have to agree with them. You're obviously bothered by something so tell us. We're your friends, aren't we?" Miori pressed.
You looked between the girls, debating whether you should tell the truth. They might find the reason dumb. You began to wonder if maybe you were being childish and should just get over it. You could just do that and tell them nothing was wrong. That wouldn't be lying, right?
Screw it, you thought to yourself.
"It's Jimin," you sighed, sitting down on the shared bed you were currently trying to put sheets on. "Last week we had a date planned. We've been talking about it for weeks now and I was really looking forward to it. Work has been keeping Jimin busy so we haven't had much time for us. This date would've been our chance to finally have some time alone."
"'Would've'?" Celeste questioned.
"He forgot about it. And if he had been at work or something then I could understand. He would've been distracted by important things and it would be kinda hard to think about a date when you're busy with that sort of stuff. But he wasn't. He went out drinking with friends instead and left me waiting at the staircase all night, hoping he would walk through the door at any moment. He got home after midnight so it's not like we could go out and have the date anyways."
"What a douche," Soomi hissed. "Did he have any particular reason for going out with his friends?"
"They invited him out to de-stress after a long week of work. I guess that appealed to him more than the date," you replied.
"I'll kick him in the dick if you want," Celeste offered, cracking her knuckles with a mischievous grin.
"Wouldn't cracking your knuckles imply you're gonna punch him?" Soomi asked.
"I'm getting ready for a whole ass fight, dimwit. You think he's gonna voluntarily let me kick him? I'm gonna have to get him in proper position first."
"Why not just use the element of surprise? Run up, kick him, and shit talk him as he collapses from pain," Soomi said.
Celeste leaned forward in her seat, eyes terrifyingly wide and head tilted slightly. "You think you can do better?"
"Alrighty, didn't know I signed up for a competition but it's on!"
"Guys, let's not attack my boyfriend, okay? Besides, he's a vampire. I'm pretty sure your attacks will either have no effect or his crazy reflexes will kick in and save him," you sighed.
"What are you going to do about this, (Y/n)? I understand that you're hurt but you can't stay mad at him forever, y'know?" Miori reasoned.
"I just want a proper apology. He has apologized, don't get me wrong, but I don't feel what I want to feel from it. Yes, he sounds remorseful, but I want him to make up for what he did. Don't just say you're sorry, prove it. You get where I'm coming from?" you answered.
