"I'm starting to feel like we're being replaced. Please stay away from this Eleanor chick."
"You can't just say that," Miori scolded.
"Uh, I can and I just did. I'm feeling quite threatened by this maid," Soomi defended.
"You're such a jealous bitch," Celeste scoffed.
"Do you understand where I'm coming from though? Is my reasoning valid or am I in the wrong?" you asked, chewing on your bottom lip.
"I don't really like it but I also don't see why Jimin is so pissed," Soomi answered.
"I think it's natural for you to want to look out for the girl. She hasn't done anything bad to you so why would you want to do something potentially bad to her?" Miori reasoned.
"Honestly, I don't know. I'm not trying to say I completely agree with Jimin but I also don't completely agree with you. I get it, this maid isn't just a nobody to you. However, you don't actually know her that well. You've been there for, what, a week? That's not enough time for you to learn everything there is to this girl. Maybe she's got a hidden dark side or maybe she doesn't," Celeste replied.
"But she can't take the risk in this situation, not when it could cost her this Eleanor girl's life," Miori argued.
"And what if not doing anything costs (Y/n)'s or Jimin's life? Or worse, both?"
"Guys, you can't be fighting. Only Celeste and I can and Miori has to be the voice of reason. We all have our roles," Soomi complained.
"It's just that I understand where (Y/n) is coming from. I don't want her to think she's making the wrong choice. None of us know anything about what's really going on so we shouldn't make hasty decisions," Miori said quietly.
"So two out of you three don't like my reasoning," you clarified.
"Soomi doesn't count because she's just being dumb. It's only mine and Miori's that actually have any meaning," the redhead corrected.
"Hey! I matter!"
"Sure, babe."
"I swear I'll kill--"
"Nothing much has changed since I left I guess," you joked.
"They get at it every day," Miori sighed.
"And let out our frustrations every night," Celeste said suggestively.
There was violent coughing before Soomi began sputtering out unintelligible words. Celeste's cackling laughter rang out and slowly became quieter, giving you the impression she just left the room.
"Soomi just dragged her out into the hall," Miori informed. "Not quite sure what's gonna happen next."
"Um, what's been going on with them? Is there any proof of what Celeste is hinting at?"
"Nothing has happened. But I say that with a very strong yet. There's a lot of tension surrounding those two--you know exactly what kind."
A pout tugged on your lips. "Why do they have to do this while I'm--"
You had previously been wandering around the halls while talking on the phone but were now stopped by the body in front of you. Staring up at the person's face, your mouth dropped open in shock, your grip around the phone tightening so you wouldn't drop it.
"(Y/n)? Are you--"
The phone is brought away from your ear and you end the call. "Good afternoon, Sangmin."
"What are you doing?" he questions with a raised eyebrow.
"Uh, I'm just walking around. I was talking with my friends back at home," you answered.
