Playing hide and seek in this house would certainly prove to be a nightmare and a half. Not only for the seeker because of how many hiding spots there were but also for the hider because they could just as easily get lost while looking for a spot. But one could also get lost without playing such a game, just as you had managed to do. Finding Eleanor had turned out to be more difficult than imagined and now you were aimlessly walking down a foreign-looking hallway. Eventually, you'd find your way out of this maze, or at least that's what you told yourself.

"They probably don't even use half of this house. What's the point of living in such a monstrous place? Property taxes must be a pain in the ass," you mumbled to yourself.

You nearly bounced with happiness when you happened to turn a corner and noticed a familiar metal door, the same one you were shown yesterday. It still looked as intimidating as ever, maybe even more so because Jimin wasn't here with you this time. An idea struck you suddenly, albeit fairly stupid. Before Jimin or you could get too close to the door, Eleanor had practically materialized from thin air in order to stop you two. Perhaps she would do the same again if you tried approaching the door. That would certainly save you a lot of searching time. You cautiously stepped closer to the door, waiting for Eleanor to startle you with a noise and--

"What do you think you're doing?"

You nearly swore when Sangmin's deep, cold voice cut through the air, and also your soul. Turning around slowly, you found yourself looking up at the man in terror, probably looking like a frightened deer. He stared down at you with emotionless eyes, making it difficult for you to decipher his emotions. Was he angry? Was he irritated? Was he a second away from snapping your neck?

"I'm looking for Eleanor," you managed to get out without stuttering.

"She's upstairs making beds, I believe. Go to her and stay away from this area in the future," he replied curtly.

"Thank you. I'm so sorry," you apologized, bowing your head.

You scurried off down the hall, looking over your shoulder once to see Sangmin opening the basement door before stepping through it. Your legs slowed as you watched the door close and a sigh of relief escaped your lips. Luckily he decided to spare you this time. Your curiosity intensified as you thought about the reason for him to go down there. All the more reason to find Eleanor ASAP, you supposed.

After making your way to the second floor, you noticed what seemed to be a cart closer to the end of the hallway, outside one of the many rooms belonging to the offerers. Just as you were about to peek in the room, Eleanor walked out at the same time. She was startled by the unexpectedness and placed a hand to her chest in surprise, eyes widening slightly.

"Sorry about that. I've been looking for you for ages. This house is unnecessarily large, y'know."

The maid gave a small smile before fishing out her notepad and pencil. "It can be quite confusing, especially when you aren't used to the layout."

"Honestly, I think I need a map," you sighed as Eleanor grabbed onto her cart, pushing it down the hall. "What are you up to?"

"Just putting new bedding on the sheets. Was there something you needed me for?" she wrote.

Now was your chance. You took a deep breath before nodding. "Y'know the basement? I was wondering if you--"

"Eleanor, dear!" You turned towards the source of the exclamation to see Jiyeon walking down the hallway towards the both of you. "It seems that the fridge is acting up a bit. A couple of the other maids were wondering if you could help them take a look at it."
