"Okay so let me get this straight, you guys made up and weren't fighting anymore but you said you wanted to go meet Jimin's parents so now you think he's mad at you and you think there's a possibility that you two could be fighting again?" Soomi asked.
"Or you could just say they made up from the last issue but they're fighting again," Celeste deadpanned.
"I don't need your sass," Soomi retorted.
"What do I do? I didn't think he'd get this upset," you groaned, hiding your face in your hands.
Jimin hasn't spoken to you since this morning, twelve hours ago to be exact. There was only so much time left before you'd have to go to your shared room for bed. Soomi, Miori and Celeste were already dressed to sleep. You felt a little guilty about barging into their room but you were about to piss your pants from being so nervous. There was no way you'd be able to walk into that bedroom without a plan.
"Talk to him. Nothing good will come out of this if you ignore him. You're going to see his parents and arriving while you two are in the middle of a dispute won't be good for anyone," Miori answered.
"Why don't you just do what you did last night? Clearly the way you handled things worked so I'm sure it won't backfire this time," Soomi suggested.
Heat rushed to your cheeks and you ducked your head in embarrassment. "I don't think it's healthy to keep turning to...that."
Miori gave you a confused stare, not understanding your vague answer, while Soomi wore a blank expression as her lips parted slightly. Celeste's eyes lit up and she tilted her head back with a cackle. Subconsciously, you curled in on yourself and tried to appear as small as possible, as if that would somehow stop Celeste from laughing her ass off.
"Damn, girl! I didn't know you had it in you. Did you show him who's boss?" the redhead grinned, crossing her one leg over the other and suddenly looking like some gossip-loving housewife.
"Wait a second, did you two fu--"
"Soomi, I think you should stop right there," Miori interrupted, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"I'm not the type of person to take control in...that kind of situation," you said, answering Celeste's question.
She rolled her eyes with disinterest. "I'm not surprised. I kinda wished this time would've been different but it's your call. If you want your man to take care of you then that's cool. Personally, I like to be the one holding the reins."
"Why are you telling me this?" you snorted.
"Maybe I'm saying it for someone else to know," Celeste said smugly, sitting back in her chair.
Your eyes widened and you quickly shifted your gaze over to the other girls in the room. Both appeared to be just as shocked as you. Miori looked like she was both impressed and dumbfounded while Soomi had paled considerably and looked like she was about to pass out at any moment. Based on Celeste's interactions with the other two, you were quite sure you knew which person she was hinting at and it seemed the girl in question was aware of it, too.
"Welp, you got our advice so why don't you go make up with your boyfriend. Us ladies need our beauty sleep," Celeste said as she got up from her seat, making her way to her bed. "I hope it all goes well. See you tomorrow."
It seemed you lost the ability to speak so you simply nodded before turning around and exiting the room. Once you were halfway down the hall from their room you slapped your hands against your cheeks, trying to wake up from your trance. You needed to be completely present for your conversation with Jimin and thinking about what Celeste said was not going to help. When you were standing in front of your closed bedroom doors, you inhaled deeply to prepare yourself. Cautiously, you turned the knob and stuck your head into the room, looking for your boyfriend. He wasn't inside, however, so you pushed the door open fully.
