"A month!?" Soomi exclaimed, gawking at you. "What are we gonna do!?"
"How about living just how we did before she was around?" Celeste supplied in a monotonous voice.
"Are you sure it'll be okay? You're gonna come back in one piece, right?" Miori asked.
"I promise I'll come back alive and with my head still attached to my body. You guys better help Clarisse take care of the house while I'm gone."
"We'll be fine, you said Jimin is arranging for people to guard us anyways," Celeste said with a dismissive wave.
"I'll make sure they don't kill each other," Miori promised, looking between the dark-haired girl and redhead beside her.
"Killing isn't the issue anymore. I'm gonna be harassed in my sleep!" Soomi argued, throwing her hands around wildly.
"Speaking of your guards, Jimin said they're coming over today so I'll be able to let you know about them tonight," you said to Celeste.
"I'm pretty sure we all know it'll be one or two of his friends. He's not the type to just pick up some random vamps off the street and order them around, even though he could easily do just that given his power and status," Celeste noted.
"That I can agree on," Soomi chirped, her smile instantly falling when Celeste gave her a predatory smirk.
"You've got everything you need packed, right? You're leaving in a couple of days so you better double-check that you're not forgetting anything," Miori reminded.
"Yep, I'm good! I made a checklist and everything just to be safe." You sighed, smiling and rolling your eyes. "Jimin is pretty damn lucky he has me otherwise he'd be going with jack shit. This guy wasn't even making a move to bring out a suitcase so I had to get him packed myself."
"Uh, ever thought maybe it's because he's going home and already has everything he needs there?" Celeste questioned, arching her eyebrow.
Your face fell as the realization hit you. Soomi cackled while pointing at you, not helping whatsoever. Miori offered a sympathetic smile before punching Soomi in the gut, face not faltering, which made it kind of scary. Celeste snickered and patted you on the shoulder.
"I totally forgot. What a loser," you whined into your hands.
"I'm sure Jimin would appreciate you looking out for him. He'll be thankful," Celeste reassured.
"You never know, maybe he was going to pack but has been so caught up with work and planning for when he's away that it slipped his mind," Miori added hopefully.
"Maybe he waited on purpose because he knew you--"
Soomi was cut off by another punch from Miori and you chuckled lightly. "I'm gonna head downstairs to meet your babysitters. It's almost noon which is when Jimin said they'd be coming over."
You left the three girls in their room and went downstairs. As you got to the last step, you felt a tap on your left shoulder, looking over it to see no one there.
"Ready to greet our guests?" Jimin asked, voice coming from your right. You looked at him to see him grinning mischievously.
"Yes. I can see you're in a good mood," you replied.
"I couldn't resist," he said softly, bumping his forehead with yours gently before walking to the door. He opened it and you were surprised to see three figures already standing there.
"Hey H--"
Hoseok punched Jimin square in the face, sending him back a few steps. Your jaw fell open in shock, watching as the orange-headed man marched over to you. He pulled you into a tight hug and glared over at Jimin.
