Chris' POV
I get out the shower and figure out what I'm going to wear for the day.
^Chris's outfit (minus the glasses and the jacket)
I was about to put it on, when my front door rang. I grabbed a pair of shorts and went downstairs and opened.
"Ohhh, shit. Wassup, Davéon? I ain't seen you in forever." I said dapping him up and letting him in. Me and Davéon are brothers. We got separate when I came out as gay to my mom and dad. Dad sent me to live with my grandparents in South Carolina when we used to live in New York at the time. Then, I moved and continued to live in Georgia... my home state. I thought that would be the last time I would see my brother ever again. But, 10 years later and he showed up at my doorstep.
"Bro, how did you find me?" I asked letting him in
"You always talked about wanting to live in yo home state. Plus, this was the original house we used to live in before we moved." He said looking around the the furniture I had in my house.
"You right, you right. So, how's mom and dad?" I asked even though they didn't accept me being gay, it didn't hurt to ask how they have been.
"They died 3 years ago." He said looking at the family pictures that were hanging on the walls
"What, how?! I've been away for 15 when I was 12 years old." I asked because I was not known of their deaths
"Lung cancer, bro. Mom smoked too damn much and dad blew himself up in a science experiment that gone wrong." He said making eye contact with me
"How come no one told me?" I asked
"Well, no one knew at the time. I knew the day the doctors told me. I laughed my fucking ass off when I heard the news." He said laughing
"Well, what about the rest of the family? How'd they take it? Pause." I said not sounding sexual
"They don't know. I told the doctors not to tell anyone because I was going to tell them. Guess I forgot." He said
"Is it bad I'm not showing any emotion?" I asked
"Nope, because neither did I. I never cared about them anymore when they kicked you out. But, I love them now that they left a will for the both of us." He said and it immediately got my attention.
"Will? What will?" I asked
"Even though you were a fag in their eyes, they decided to leave you with some cars they don't even drive anymore because they couldn't handle them. But, they bought them anyway." He said
"Well, where are the cars?" I asked intrigued
"They in the garage. Where else did you think they would be at?" He said
"Well, I've never opened the garage ever since I've been living here." I said
"So for almost 4 years, you have never opened that garage door?" He asked in shock
