"Do you still love him?"

"Of course. That's my husband and it's gonna stay like that. I hope"

"What do you mean "I hope"?"

"Lately, he's been acting different. I don't know what's going on, but it ain't the same guy I fell in love with 25 years ago."

"Do you think he is going to be the same way from now on?"

"To be honest, I don't know anymore."

"I can tell something had to have happened in the past to make you feel this way."

"Actually, yeah. Something did happen. Something that changed all of our lives forever."

"Are you comfortable to talk about it?"

"Well, you are my therapist and I have to be honest with you."

(chuckles)"Xavier, I ain't ya momma. However, I can detect when someone is lying to me."

"Well, you got a point. So, it started 5 years ago. We were happy like a regular couple but built different..."

"Baby, you what we should do for our 5- year anniversary?" Romeo asked me

"What's that?" I replied spitting the toothpaste I had in my mouth in the sink and letting the water force it down the drain.

"We should plan something very extravagant. Like, something we have even thought of before." He said with excitement all over his face

"Hmm..." I said before I cut the sink off and laid beside him on the bed. "Extravagant like how?"

"I was thinking we could take a vacation... say for like 3 weeks or maybe two months. Just me and you." He said before pulling me on top of him and wrapping his arms around my waist. I snorted and looked up at him.

"Romeo, seriously? Two months? Our anniversary is only one day. Besides, where would we even go?" I said, and he looked back at me and smiled. "The Bahamas or the Caribbean Islands are options. Ooo, what about Hawaii? I can picture it now: my baby giving me a private show somewhere on a beach at night wearing nothing but a grass skirt like those hula dancers wear under the moonlight." He replied and in an instant, I felt him get "excited" (if you get what I'm saying). So, I immediately got off him.

"Unh unh, no way. That's how we got caught last time because of your thoughts. At this rate, Jayden is probably going to check himself into therapy." I said pushing his hands away whenever he tried to pull me back.

He laughed and gave me a cheesy smile. "Well, that's what he gets for constantly busting into our room after we kept telling him to knock first." He said and sat up to sit me on his lap.

"You got a point. But, I keep telling you to lock the door before we get into it. You know I hate it when we get interrupted, especially when the kids are here." I said giving him a pouting kind of face.

"Nah, because we already told the kids that they can't lock their doors either. Now, what kind of parents would we be if we go against rules, especially when we were the ones that came up with them?" He said giving me a "you see what I'm saying" look. I thought about it for a moment and nodded my head.

"Exactly. Plus, as long as we're quiet enough, and it's happening while they're sleep, we have nothing to worry about. See how it's quiet right now? Let's do something." He said as he slid his hands in my underwear and grabbed a handful of my cheeks. I bit my lip for a few seconds before I snapped back into reality and got off him.
