(3rd Person)

The day carried on like any other. He'd wake up, brush his teeth. Eat breakfast, than his hero work.

The only difference was that there was no smell of burnt bacon.

The only difference was, brushing his teeth alone.

The only difference was, working without a partner.

The only difference was that there was no energetic blonde to make the day brighter. To wake up to, the first thing he sees would be the bright smile plastered on his face. But now, the first thing he sees is the empty spot beside him.

He'd wake up in the middle of the night hoping, praying, anything, that it was just a nightmare. Reaching on the other side of the bed as tears streamed down Sero's face, looking, yelling for Denki to come and comfort him like he always did. But it was the same as the past few weeks. He was left with a quiet, awful silence in the house.

It was quiet as Sero sat on the couch. A random show playing as he held a full coffee cup in one hand, the remote in the other.

He had been forced to take the rest of the month off, to take some time and rest after what had happened a few weeks ago.

Kaminari was officially dead by the time help had came. He had passed with a small smile on his face as he kept his grip on Sero's hand, his fingers gently hovering above the band on Sero's ring finger.

It took 4 hours to get Sero to let go of the blonde's hand. He was breaking and falling apart when they had arrived, screaming and begging for Denki to just wake up.

Sero shook his head to get rid of the memories. He had to leave soon, he had a wedding to get to. Standing up and dumping his coffee down the sink, Sero made his way into his bedroom to find something to wear.

It took so much convincing from Mina to let them plan a wedding. Sero shot it down almost immediately, glaring at the pink haired girl but only gave in when Kirishima walked inside the hospital room, remembering what Denki had told him.

'I told him that I was going to marry you someday. And you know what he said?'

'What?'

'He said, 'Go for it.' And now, here we are...Sero Hanta--'

That day, Sero swore he saw Kaminari behind the red head when he walked inside with Bakugou. That was the only reason he had agreed to it.

Knocking broke Sero from his thoughts. He walked over to answer it, only to find his friends standing there with sad looks.

Sero smiled and walked pass them. "Come on, let's get going! Can't....can't keep him waiting..."

"Sero..."

"You wanted this. Let's go. Before I change my mind." No, of course he wouldn't change his mind. He just wanted to get his mind off of this. Didn't want to be reminded of that terrible day.

...

They all sat by the stone, paying their respects, recalling their memories with blonde. Sero sat in the back, a blank expression as he couldn't actually believe the blonde was gone.

'Or you can just suck my dick because face it, we both know who's going to win.' Sero teased as he took the controller, setting up a new level.

'Oh you are so on man. I'll fucking make you eat your words.'

-3 minutes later-

'You were saying?'

'Well shit, man. You want me to suck your dick now?'

'WOah, wait. What? I th-thought you were just joking, dude.'

'Sero. My dude. Bro. Best friend -hopefully more, what? Who said that? I don't know. Okay.- If you don't like it, tell me to stop.'  And that was the beginning of their weird relationship that soon became the strongest one in their 2nd year class.

Sero sighed and blinked away the unwanted tears, noticing it was his turn to speak up.

The taller boy cleared his throat and approached the stone, trying to relax his nerves. He was hyperventilating. He needs to calm down, this was the first time his friends allowed him to come and visit, the other times he'd have a panic attack and they'd force him to leave so he could calm down.

He didn't--couldn't leave. There's no way. Calmdowncalmdowncalmdow--

"Sero, are you okay?" Mina had asked, noticing her friend's tense posture.

"I think we should leav--"

"No. I am not leaving. I'll calm down, I'm not going anywhere, I need to do this." Sero spoke, not letting Kirishima finish his sentence.

Mina started. "Denki Kaminari. You've been my best friend since we've first met back in our first year. You can always put a smile on anyone's face no matter who they are or type of day they had."

Kirishima began. "You always put a smile on everyone's face, Bakugou included. I know... that was one of the few things you wanted to do before you died. You did it, so now... please come back. I can't-- please don't leave us here. You brought everyone together.. please just... I miss you." Kirishima couldn't help the tears that had fallen, his voice breaking in the middle of his sentence. Bakugou awkwardly pulled the red head closer to him, running his fingers through red hair as he tried comforting the other.

Bakugou continued. "Even though you were incredibly stupid and annoying and--" Kirishima hit his shoulder, preventing him from finishing that sentence. "You were still...an amazing friend, or whatever bullshit like that. I don't know what we'll do without you, but I hope we all don't fall apart like what you said when you came to me after one of you nightmares back in U.A."

Bakugou's voice was actually calm for once as the ash blonde sadly looked down at the stone. The other three turned to their short tempered friend with a shocked look on their faces. Bakugou never mention Kaminari coming to him during high school, or even hanging out ever.

"Wha--What do you mean he came to you at night? What'd he say?" Sero asked, desperation lacing his voice.

"Shut it, Scotch Tape. I'll tell you later. It's your turn."

Sero cleared his throat. "I promised to love you without condition. To honor you each, and every day. To laugh with you.... when you're happy. To support you when you're sad. To challenge you into becoming a better person. And... I hoped you'd do the same for me. But now, some of that stuff had become impossible in the last few weeks. I just want you to know, that everything you've done, every small thing that probably wouldn't seem like anything to someone else, It meant the entire world to me. I'll love you until my last breath, Denki." Sero finished.

Kirishima looked up and smiled, grabbing onto Bakugou's hand. "Sero Hanta, are you willing to spend every last minute with Denki? To hold him close whenever you're breaking inside? Do you, Sero Hanta, take Kaminari Denki to be your husband forever and always?"

"I do..." Memories of the two flashed through Sero's mind as he said those two words.

"Kaminari Denki, are you willing to be with Sero no matter where he's at? To Stay by his side at all times and never re-think your decision? Do you, Kaminari Denki, take Sero Hanta to be your husband for the rest of his life?"

The four sat in silence, as if expecting a reply.

What they got instead will be something neither of them will ever forget. A strong breeze hit the four friend as cherry blossoms danced across the stone. Bakugou, Kirishima, and Mina all felt as if they were being wrapped in a hug. Despite the cold weather, it suddenly felt warm around the four.

And Sero, he swore he felt Denki's kiss on his lips one last time before a small voice that everyone had heard, come from directly beside Sero. "I do, Hanta."

Happy birthday, Hitoshi Shinso.
