- I guess Todoroki is vulnerable at some point? Some people don't really like him like that, so here's a warning for it.

(3rd Person)

Slamming his door shut, Todoroki walked to his bed and sat down, running his fingers through his hair as he tried to stop the tears that streamed down his bruised face.

He was able to control his sobbing, not letting his dad get the satisfaction of hearing him cry. Letting him know that he broke Todoroki for the 15th time that week.

However, he wasn't able to control the constant tears that managed to escape his eyes and flow freely down his face. He can never really get away from everything.

He was unlucky enough to witness what his siblings were going through. Knowing that they were being hurt and he couldn't stop it.

Todoroki pushed his thoughts aside and opened his bedside drawer. Taking the small object in his hands, he was stopped by his phone going off.

With the blade in his left hand, Todoroki held the phone in his right and hit the small green button.

"Hello?"

"Hey! I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tomorrow, after school. Just us, because everyone else was busy. Plus, we never really get to spend time together anymore, and I thought that maybe...it'd be best.."  Midoriya's voice trailed off as he noticed his boyfriend's silence.

"Are you okay?"

Those three words had so much care in them, Todoroki almost broke down in front of his boyfriend and told him everything that was going on. Almost.

"Yes, I'm fine. I can hang out tomorrow. Right after school? Or a specific time?"  Todoroki reassured the smaller male, tightening his grip on the small blade.

He didn't really take in what Midoriya had to say, something about meeting after school, as he kept his attention on the shiny object that was considered 'dangerous'.

"...Todoroki, you promised.."  This caught him by surprise as he dropped the blade onto the floor, his breath noticeably hitched as he fought the urge to just cry, break, sob. Anything. It hurt to hold everything back, and it was only getting worse.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Midoriya. Now what time did you say you wanted to meet again?"  Todoroki tightened his grip on the phone, picked up the blade and held it against his skin, pushing in and dragging it across his wrist, yelping in the process.

'Idiot. Why do it when you're on the fucking phone with your boyfriend.'  Was what went through Todoroki's mind as he scolded himself for letting the sound come out.

"I'm coming over." Midoriya spoke with a firm voice as shuffling could be heard.

"No! No. I'm fine. My dad doesn't want visitors right now, you know how he gets."  Todoroki mentioned the last part quietly out of fear of being caught by his father.

"Bullshit Shouto. You're my boyfriend, I shouldn't need permission to see you." Todoroki could hear the venom in his voice and flinched, slightly at the sound of it.

Todoroki remained silent in fear of getting snapped at again. On the other line, Midoriya felt bad and almost apologized, but the way Todoroki remained silent and didn't say anything back already set off alarms that something had happened when his boyfriend came home from school. So Midoriya had to have the upper hand when Todoroki was vulnerable in order to get it out of him.

"Todoroki, baby. Talk to me. Did he do it again?" Midoriya's voice was calm and soothing, allowing Todoroki to loosen his grip on the blade and trust what his boyfriend was saying.

Tears streamed down his face as he quietly whimpered, bringing his knees closer to his chest, letting go of the blade and listening to the soft sound of his boyfriend's voice.

The sound of the front door slamming shut and a car pulling out of the drive way could be heard, indicating Todoroki's father left to go and get drunk for the night, leaving house to himself as his siblings were all out with their friends.

"Did you do it again?" Again, there was nothing but care in his voice as Midoriya was already outside his boyfriend's window, waiting to get the final answer before he made his presence known.

"I'm sorry.." Todoroki managed to get out. The line cut and Midoriya felt his heart break at the sound of his boyfriend's voice as he made his way inside the room.

Midoriya found his boyfriend curled up on his bed as he shook slightly.

Making his way over to him, he noticed the blade on the floor, and picked it up before putting it in his pocket to try and keep his boyfriend from cutting again.

"Baby, I'm sorry.." Midoriya got on the bed and wrapped his arms around Todoroki, burying his head in the crook of his neck while playing with his hair in order to keep him from crying again. "Lemme see them.."

Todoroki shook his head slightly and kept his arms out of sight from his boyfriend as he leaned in close to his Midoriya's touch.

With one hand, Midoriya swiftly pulled his boyfriend's arm away and with the other, he pushed Todoroki against the matress, keeping him from moving away.

Midoriya took one glance at his wrist and tears already began to well up in his eyes. How could his boyfriend do that to his precious arms?

He looked up to find Todoroki shaking slightly with a pained look, his eyes shut and tears falling, none stop. 'Did he think I was going to hit him?'

Midoriya shook the thought away and loosened his grip before pulling his boyfriend into a hug.

"No.. No, I promise I'll never lay a hand on you, okay? I swear, don't be afraid of me. It just hurts me seeing you like this.." Midoriya said, trying to calm him down. They can't keep going on like this, they're only hurting eachother.

After what felt like hours of trying to get Todoroki to talk, Midoriya did the only thing he's ever wanted to do.

He gently took Todoroki's hand in his and moved it up to his mouth, placing gentle kisses on each one of his scars, leading up his arm and then place one soft kiss on his lips, showing his boyfriend that he is and forever will be there for him.

Todoroki looked at him with a shocked, flustered expression. 'Did he actually care about him? Was he actually loved?'  Thoughts raced through his head as he stared at the boy in front of him who was placing kisses on top of every one of his scars, coming back to softly kiss his lips.

"Now, please.." Midoriya began, looking into his boyfriend's eyes with the most serious but comforting look he could give him.

"We'll go through this together. Don't do this to me anymore.." Midoriya played with his hair as he held onto him like he'd lose him if he accidentally let go.

"Never again.."
