"What keeps you up at night?" Deku asked as he held the blonde's hand in the hospital.

Kaminari only looked at him through his eyes before looking back out the window as the machine beeped beside him.

Midoriya was the only one that showed up now.

"Come on, Kami."

Midoriya was the only one that cared.

"It's more of when I'll die, not if I'll die." Was all he said and Midoriya felt his heart break.

"Kami..."

The next day was simple.

And it was the same.

Midoriya would come in, Kaminari would sit up, expecting to see somebody accompanying him but no. Nobody showed up anymore.

And for some reason, Midoriya always stayed until he was forced, dragged out.

And for some reason, it gave Kaminari more of a reason to stay alive.

The blonde had stopped looking at the door whenever it opened, it was always Midoriya. Always him, not even a nurse. So it didn't surprise him when he showed up.

"Good morning, Midoriya."

And Izuku would smile and set the small bag of doughnuts on the little side table.

"Good morning, Kaminari!" And he would sit on the side of Denki's bed and tell him stories about the class.

"Can we skip that today? I don't wanna hear how much fun they're having while I'm gone."

Midoriya thought for moment before a smile came to his face and he took the blondes hand in his, placing a soft kiss on top of it. That was new.

"Of course."

"Bring him in." Midoriya spoke to his right hand man who nodded, putting away his sword as he gestured to the guards.

"He was found outside the castle walls, attempting to sneak in. No one knows why because this little shit's not saying anything."

The guards walked in with a ash, spiky haired boy with cloak around his neck.

"Bakugou Katsuki." Midoriya glared as he adjusted his satchel. "What brings you here, Kacchan?"

Glaring at the nickname, Bakugou stood up straight. "I want my fucking dragon back."

"Right, Kirishima." Was all he said before gesturing to one of the guards who immediately walked away in a certain direction. "I need a replacement."

"I gave you Iida and that bitch from Endeavors Kingdom."

"I want a dragon."
