[4]"Kazuki"

3rd Person: POV

"Hey, has Kazuki been a little distant a bit"
Shouko wrote to me. Y/N had the same thoughts, she hadn't seen him talk to her people or do his habit of putting his white long sleeves over his mouth, which when he does, Y/N thought was cute.

No one knew this, but Kazuki's only way of going to school was to see Y/N's smile. Even today, he slightly glance towards her direction when she wasn't looking towards him which was difficult because she frequently does.

Y/N couldn't hold the tension between them anymore so she marched up to him and tried to do Shouya told her NOT to do.

"Hey Kazuki! What's up?"

The saffron haired haired boy avoided contact with you as he blankly looked on his desk. He began to speak with his low tone voice.

"So, I saw you and Shouya hanging out together after school. It looked like you were having fun too."

Kazuki finally looked up to her now saddened face.

Y/N: POV

'I didn't know that Kazuki had this expression, he looks so hurt and angry. I wish I could at least give him a hug. But it's obvious that you're in the friend-zone or worse.'

Kazuki slams the table in front of him as he counldnt handle the thought of it any longer.
He stood up his chair and forcefully grabbed my hand, taking me to an empty room.

'This was more terrifying than getting rejected, and from Kazuki?? That's too much for me!!?'

3rd Person: POV

He cornered Y/N to the wall as his anger was shown which he amazingly never did in his whole life until now. The thought of Shouya and her laughing and talking together was impractical. He didn't want that.

"Why were you and Shouya talking to each other so lightly. Smiling at him so widely, I've never seen that kind of face when you talk to ME, why...WHY DONT YOU SMILE TO ME LIKE YOU DO TO HIM?!"

A pain struck Y/N's chest. She couldn't bare not wanting to let Kazuki know that she loves him, and before, smiling at Kazuki when she was a kid, she would get made fun of by him. That's why she never smiled again.

"Kazuki...I...really..."

Y/N was about to let out a tear but she had to stay strong of what was about to happen.

"YOU WHAT?"

She didn't want to face him like this.

"I wanted to make an approach towards you ok!!?"

He stared blankly at me while silence grew in the room.

"What?"

"So I asked Shouya to show me to do that. He told me to tell you pickup lines but I knew that wouldn't please you. And you never really seem interested in girls or me, since you make fun of me all the time..."

Y/N didn't look up to find that he had mix emotions. He was both guilty and happy, but he didn't have enough time to tell her that.

"I know you'll reject me so I'll take my leave"

Y/N pushed Kazuki with all her strength. She hesitated for a bit but knew that it wouldn't last long. She wanted to be closer to him but not in the way he showed today.

She ran as fast as she could to her house and hugged her knees tightly towards herself. Y/N cried softly as she called out the boy whom she love.
