I picked out a casual outfit, matching with a cute half-down braided hair. After I was about to go to the counter, I saw a familiar girl.
'Is that Asami?!'
I hid behind one of the isles and tried not to scream my lungs out. I benched down, almost trying to curl myself into a ball and panicked. I'd be lying if I said no one in the store didn't notice me.
'Oh god! She can't find out I'm here! It was obvious from first glance that she hates my guts!'
A store employee casually stilled towards me and questioned what was wrong. I lowered my voice down and told him a lame excuse.
"I wanted to surprise a relative of mine for her birthday and uh—it so happened that she was here. Would you mind if you distract her for a bit?"
I pointed towards where she was which gave me the slip chance of buying what I need and getting out without being noticed by Asami. I slipped on my shades just in case the plan failed.

Kazuki: POV
As much as I wasn't interested in this event we were having, I was the first to arrive. I can guess why Y/N and Shouya didn't get here yet but Asami? I thought she'd be early like what she does everyday in school. Women and clothes, I still don't get why they take so long. In my opinion, I would just wear my regular clothes.

As I was deep in thought, it soon pooped out when a loud-optimistic girl waved while running towards me. I tried my best not to be noticed. She stood in front of me and was completely oblivious to what people around were looking.
"What's wrong?"
Y/N tilted her head which no expression.
"What are you doing? We're in public!"
She giggled and playfully played with her hair.
'She hadn't changed a bit'
Silence grew, I tried to think about something to talk about, but it looked like Y/N beat me to it.
"So...are we the only once here so far?"
"Looks like it"
The both of us talked to each other until the rest of the group made it. •••

Shouya stretches out his hand towards me as he gave me a smirk. That made me choke with laughter inside. I laid out my hand to him and answered.

Shouya pulled me to my feet and dragged me in the park as the other two took their time toddling.
