That day...I couldn't forget the reaction he gave; he was so happy when I first saw him!..But now, he's sitting their like all the things around him don't matter anymore. He even stopped doing his pranks and making fun of Shouko. I knew it was selfish for me to say this but..I missed the boy who cares for himself and is closer to me.
After I told him about Asami being hospitalized, I thought it would be right for him to at least let him visit her at the hospital and have a moment alone with her. ••• <In The Hospital>
Kazuki: POV
Before me and Y/N visited, we both picked out a bouquet of flowers for Asami. We of course picked out her favourite, Cattleya Orchids.

Me and Y/N walked towards Asami's Room. There I saw her lying on her resting bed. Her black-raven hair was surrounding her face, it was longer than I remembered.
"I guess she's been here a while"
I mumbled to myself but was loud enough for Y/N to hear. She lowered down her head and responded back.
"Yeah"
She placed the bouquet of flowers on top of table and sat on the chair beside Asami. Y/N's both hands grabbed the unconscious girl's hands.
"What exactly happened to her?"
"She tried to save a girl. The girl she tried to save was the same age as her at that time"
A sudden pause happened. It wasn't like Y/N to not talk as much.
"She tried to kill herself because...she was harmed and harassed and was constantly sent death threats by others. At one point, she decided to follow what they had wished for and tried to commit suicide. "
Just from the way she was telling it, it was as if she was the one who lived it.
"Asami prevented that from happening and took the blow instead."
Once she finished that sentence, she turned her head back to me.
"She was found unconscious and was immediately taken to the hospital."
Her look was the face of guilt, I felt like what she told me wasn't the full story. There was more than meets the eye. I sat beside Y/N and placed my hand on top of hers and asked another question. Her face heated up and turned all shades of red.
"So...how long has she been unconscious?"
"Far too long, the Doctors were starting to think that she may be could've stayed like this forever. They thought she could have never woken up"
"That girl who we talked about earlier, donated money for Asami's recovery and hoped for success. I was informed that she could wake up any time this year"
3rd Person: POV
In the corner of his eyes, he could see hint of happiness drifting from Y/N's face, but that soon was he drifted once she faced Kazuki.
"Kazuki-kun, I'll give you some time with her alone."
She slowly stood up and held the door. Her hands fisted and mumbled her last words before leaving.
"I'll be at the waiting room, tell me when you're finished" ••• <In The Waiting Room>
Y/N: POV
I sat at one of the empty chairs that no one was using. I stared into space while trying to let off my anger. 'If only you knew that I was that person who caused all this'
