[15] The Fun Ride | Part 2

Y/N: POV

Amazed by every single food stands and rides, I wanted to ride all of them. We all went and roamed around the place just to kill time or when one wants to do something to do separately from the other. The four of us, mostly me, was interested in going on the Ferris wheel.

'This brings me back to so many good memories~'

We all paired up with our partners and tried to join in one of the rooms. It was then when a crowd of people surrounded all four of us, making us all separated.

I tried to find Shouya but he was nowhere be found. Without me realizing, 'he' had to be next to me. It was just my luck that it was my turn.

"Kazuki? Wait, where's Asami? Weren't you with her?"

I questioned, dumbfounded how he got here.

"Oh, I—"

"Sir and Ma'am, please step up for the next room"

Just hearing that coming from her, it didn't take a second to be flustered from what she had just said.

"What?! Oh no! Your wrong—he isn't the one I wanted to ride with!"

I tried to sound polite but things just got worse from that point on.

"I mean—!"

"Come on, N/N. It's been a while since we rode the Ferris Wheel together, we might as well take this as our opportunity, right?"

I looked back at him with a confused expression. I of course mouthed him,

"Are you crazy?!"

Kazuki just bent down to my ears and whispered something to me.

"Play along, Y/N. This girl looks like she's on the first day on the job."

I looked back to the girl who's concerned and looked at me, she looked like a newly hired employee. She was almost at the verge of tears and panic.

"Lets not make this harder on her, alright?"

A smile crept on my face as I faced him once again.

"Miss?"

"Let's get going, Y/N!"

Kazuki hurriedly pulled me, almost feeling like my past self was once again reborn. This was like a trip back to the past.

We both sat down on each seat as the Ferris wheel slowly moved up. For the first time, we didn't know what to talk about. Most times, they were just mere rambles that come into our minds...but this time, we were both in relationships with different people. Worst part was...

'I don't know if I still have feelings for Kazuki'

I stared at him while he gazed out the window. Probably bored, I imagine.

"I'm sorry to drag you into this Kazuki. I know you wanted to spend with Asami."

He focused towards me and snickered.

"It's nothing. You always do have a habit of getting in trouble"

3 arrows was shot through each side of my heart. I lowered my head down and had s voice crack,

"I'm sorry!"

"Really it's fine. In a way, this is the first time in a while we actually hung out just the two of us!"

Kazuki's hair strands swung, synching with his perfect smile he always gave me. Deep inside, that made me less tensed and more calm. My heart pounded fast feeling as if I could die any moment.

'He always have a way of making me smile like a little girl'

'What are you doing to me Kazuki?'
