Chapter 10

Dianne❤️: I finish school for the day and wander home, I couldn't stop thinking about my dad. The one chance I had and I blew it. Why did he have to be such an idiot. Make stupid comments maybe it was my fault. My head was a whirlwind of emotions. I went into AJ's primary and picked him up. Giving him a massive hug when I saw him. I always wanted him to know he was loved. When we got home I did my usual thing of taking aj upstairs and calling Amy and Chloe. They were both of school today so had been talking all day lucky them.
Chloe☀️:"hey girl, Amy's had to pop to the shops with her mum she'll be back soon, have you had a better day today"
Dianne❤️:"not really, it's a long story."
Chloe☀️:"DI YOU KNOW I HAVE TIME GO GO GO"
Dianne❤️:"okay so I walked into art with joe, and met the teacher yano the one he always goes on about"
Chloe☀️:"ohh yeah you've mentioned him, was he nice"
Dianne❤️:"it's ... my ... dad" I break down into tears again, there isn't a day recently where I haven't cried. I'm fed up.
Chloe☀️:"I'm so sorry Di, did you get a chance to talk"
Dianne❤️:"kind of. I ran out when I saw him, then joe came and found me and I told him everything. Then at lunch we went back and I tried to talk to him. Then it went downhill he made some stupid comments about aj and I flipped out. He had no right to say those things but I think I've blown it"
Chloe☀️:"I'm sure you haven't blown it, hey he's only been gone 3 years. I know that seems like a lifetime but you can get through this Di your so strong, I love you"
Dianne❤️:I thought I could hear my mum downstairs so i quickly ended the chat with Chloe and ran downstairs.
Rina🍷:"DIANNE COME HERE"
Dianne❤️:"coming"
Rina🍷:"why do you never want to be near me any more, I miss you. And aj. I never get to see you. Why are you taking my children away"
Dianne❤️:"maybe if you weren't drunk all my life I would actually trust you to be around aj. That little boy deserves the world"
Rina🍷:"DONT YOU DARE SAY THIS IS MY FAULT. REMEMBER YOU MADE YOUR DAD LEAVE. ITS YOU, YOU SILLY LITTLE GIRL"
Dianne❤️:"YEAH YEAH SURE. THATS WHAT YOU ALWAYS SAY. WE ALL KNOW WHY DAD LEFT"
Rina🍷:"YEAH YOU. YOUVE CAUSED ME NOTHING BUT PAIN. WHY CANT YOU JUST LET ME HAVE MY SON BACK YOUR NOT HIS MOTHER"
dianne❤️:"really who takes him to school and picks him up everyday. Who gets him dressed and feeds him, everyday. Who's cared for him on there own everyday for 4 YEARS"
Rina🍷:"DONT YOU THINK I WANT THAT. I WISH I GOT RID OF YOU WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE"
Dianne❤️: and with that I heard little footsteps creep in behind me
AJ🐙:"mummy, why are you shouting at di"
Rina🍷:"well, Di has been a very bad girl. And she needs to be punished for it"
AJ🐙:"but diannes really good and nice. And she hugs me loads"
Rina🍷:"that's why she's been naughty"
AJ🐙:"I don't understand"
Dianne❤️:he ran over to me and gave me a massive hug. I could see it. The fear in his eyes the exact one I felt when I was young. "Hey baby boy it's okay. Your safe" I ran back up stairs. Getting away from that woman
