Abandoned - a Joanne fanfic.

Chapter 23

Dianne❤️:I had my first counselling session yesterday and had to go back to school today, joe and Zoe stayed off and took me there so I wasn't alone, they were the best. I woke up early so had a quick chat to chloe and Amy before I walked to school with joe. I approached the gate where I saw miss hedge our head of year. We hadn't spoke much only on my first day but I didn't think much of that, as I walked through she tapped me on the shoulder and called me up to her office, joe walked me up there but was told to wait outside. I hardly got a chance to see anyone.
Miss hedge👩‍💻:"now Dianne do you know why you have been called up here"
Dianne❤️:"not really"
Miss hedge👩‍💻:"well, I have been informed of some rumours going around school concerning you, and your mental health"
Dianne❤️:"um what rumours"
Miss hedge👩‍💻:"I understand this may be hard to talk about but rumours around self harm"
Dianne❤️: great now the whole school knew, I thought I may as well be honest. "Um yes I was admitted to hospital a few days ago, I had my first counselling session yesterday"
Miss hedge👩‍💻:"well that's good that your getting help, I'm always here if you need someone to talk to during school. It has also come to my attention that mark, is your father? Correct"
Dianne❤️:"yeah."
Miss hedge👩‍💻:"are you able to tell me a bit more about that"
Dianne❤️:"okay. Well when I was little my mum used to be drunk the majority of the time however my dad would protect me, my mum then became pregnant with AJ and stopped drinking once he was born she went back to it. My dad left within a year. He couldn't handle it. I was left to bring up AJ while my mum threw abuse at me. This was up until I saw my dad here at school. The first time in 3 years. I then moved in with joe pretty soon after."
Miss hedge👩‍💻:"Im so sorry Dianne, can I ask when was the last time you had contact with your mother."
Dianne❤️:"I've been telling everyone that she's text me a few times but the truth is I haven't heard from her since I first went into hospital. A few months ago" tears began to fall from my eyes.
Miss hedge👩‍💻:"well Dianne. This isn't good however you should have told people. Yours and AJ's legal guardian has not been caring for you. I will have to inform joes parents."
Dianne❤️:"NO NO PLEASE I don't want anything to happen to AJ"
Miss hedge👩‍💻:"Im sorry Dianne, however as joes parents are currently caring for you I'm going to have to" 
Dianne❤️:I got up and walked out. Completely blanking joe who was sat outside the office. I ran out of school and back to the park. It was a quite space where I could have time to myself.
Joe💙:I heard the door open and I saw Dianne run past, tears falling down your face. I grabbed all my stuff and began to look for her. I walked around the whole school until I remembered the park. Of course the park. I managed to get out while the gates were still open and try find Dianne.
