Chapter 4

Dianne❤️: me and joe began walking home, when we were faced with a boy called mikey, I had seen him around school today as he was in my English class and he seemed okay I guess, he walked towards us and suddenly pushed me to the ground.
Joe💙: me and dianne began walking home when we were faced with mikey, me and mikey used to be best friends yet it all fell apart when he started hanging around with party boys. He pushed Dianne to the ground. I started fighting with him but realised it wasn't worth it. I leant next to dianne making sure she was okay
Dianne❤️:I was awake yet kept my eyes closed, I heard joe shout at mikey however my hearing was muffled so I couldn't make out what he was saying, I felt myself falling asleep but I kept trying to stay awake so I could hear what joe was saying, I felt his hand stroke my cheek he picked me up and carried me home, I told him to leave when I got to the front door, I could see he didn't want to but he knew he had to, I watched him walk off
Joe💙: I picked dianne up and walked her home she told me to leave. "Are you sure, you look hurt." "I'm fine just go" she said. I wanted to just open her door and run inside with her but I wanted to respect her choices I reluctantly walked away.
Dianne❤️:I went inside and ran upstairs passing AJ's room. AJ! I ran out of my house running towards his school. I ran in and apologised for the teachers for being late, they knew our home situation so we're understanding I grabbed AJ's Hand and walked home. I heard someone call my name across the street, it was joe. I picked aj up and placed him on my hip and started running god what does he think of me.
Joe💙:I began walking home when I thought I saw dianne run towards the primary school, no it couldn't have been her Im probably seeing things. I decided to go for a walk to clear my head so I turned around and walk towards the park. I saw dianne again, this time with a little boy maybe around 4 or 5. She looked in a rush, "dianne" she looked over and began running. Is this why I couldn't come in? She never mentioned a sibling, no it couldn't be my mind was going over 1000 senarios in my head. But one stuck, her son. The way she ran off like that surely if it was just her brother she would have said hi or at least acknowledged me, does she live alone what have I got my self into.
Dianne❤️: once I got home I ran up to AJ's room and let him play, i grabbed my phone and began calling Amy and Chloe.
Chloe☀️: "hey girl you okay?"
Amy🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿:"hey you guys, wait dianne what's up?"
Dianne❤️: " it's a long story"
Chloe☀️:"we have time go ahead"
Dianne❤️:"so I went to that new school today, its really nice. I met this boy called joe (Dianne then explains there day etc)It was all going fine until he saw me walking home with aj, as soon as he saw me I ran off, I didn't want him to see me, he clearly did. Now I think he's going to hate me"And with that I broke down in tears.
Amy🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿:"oh dianne, I'm sure he won't hate you, maybe bunk school Tomorrow have a break. Maybe meet him after school and explain. If he's a good person he will understand"
Chloe☀️:"I second that"
Dianne❤️: "thanks you guys, I wish I could hug you right now, I love you"
AJ🐙:"Dianne, dianne, dianne can I say hi to auntie Chloe and auntie Amy"
Dianne❤️:"of course you can" I had been friends with Amy and Chloe from before aj was born, they had been through it all with me, AJ had grown up knowing them, it was so cute how he viewed them as his aunties.
Chloe☀️:"hey my little man, how are you?"
AJ🐙:"Im okay, I miss mommy though."
Amy🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿:"we know gorgeous, you'll see her tomorrow though. Now why don't you give Dianne a big cuddle from us"
AJ🐙:"OKAY! DIANNE COME HERE"
Dianne❤️: I walked over to aj as he ran to me and gave me a huge hug. He sat on my lap and fell asleep in my arms as I continued talking to Chloe and Amy, forgetting about dinner. It got to 7pm so I thought I'd wake aj up and give him a quick snack before he feel asleep for the night, I ran downstairs and grabbed some fruit and a cup of milk for aj. He ate it quickly and fell asleep in my arms again. In this moment my life was perfect, my two best friends and my baby brother.
