Chapter 15

Joe💙: I was awake most of the night, I couldn't stop thinking about Dianne, it got to around 7:30 so I decided to wake AJ up and take him to school, I wanted things to be normal as possible for him. I told him we would go see Di after school. As I approached the school a concerned teacher approached me.
Teacher👩‍🏫:"hello, sorry if Im being rude, can I ask who you are? It's just usually AJ's sister drops him off"
Joe💙:"Hey, Im joe, Dianne's boyfriend, Dianne's. Um . Well she's in a coma AJ's staying with my family for a while"
Teacher👩‍🏫:"I see, I'm sorry to hear this. Thank you for letting me know. Will it be you collecting AJ"
Joe💙:"most likely, it may be my mum, Tracy, but AJ knows her so he should go up to her"
Teacher👩‍🏫:"okay thank you"
Joe💙:"I felt a real connection to AJ he was like my little brother already, he was so special. The hospital was only a 20 minute walk away so I decided to go straight there. All of my family were at work/ college so I was the only one today.
Dianne❤️:I'm pretty sure a night had gone past, I had no track of time so I had no idea, I then heard that voice, the one I loved so much, the one that made me feel at ease.
Joe💙:"hey beautiful, I'm here now" I still hated seeing Dianne like that, I sat by her bedside all day, watching doctors come in and out I never let go of her hand. Until I was just about to, my grip slowly loosened
Dianne❤️:I had felt joes grip all day, i loved Knowing he was here. I kept trying to give him some sign, anything to let him know I was here to. Then I felt his grip loosen, this was your one chance Dianne, I used every muscle in my body to move my finger and squeeze joes hand! YES! I did it. I immediately felt his grip tighten again.
Joe💙:just as I was loosening my grip I felt diannes get tighter. "DI" I screamed. "DOCTOR SHE JUST MOVED"
Doctor👨‍⚕️:"are you sure, miss Buswell hasn't shown any signs of movement"
Joe💙:"100% certain, come on di, just one more time please"
Dianne❤️: I knew this would be a struggle but I had to do it, I had to let them know I was still in here, I just about did it I managed to squeeze his hand one more time.
Doctor👨‍⚕️:"wow, okay. We'll run some tests but we may be able to try bring her out of her coma"
Joe💙:"really, that would be amazing" my face lit up, the thought of having Dianne back made my heart glow. "Di did you here that, your coming back"
Dianne❤️: my heart was glowing, the thought of seeing joe and AJ again I couldn't believe it. I was going to get through this no matter what. I was determined.
