Abandoned - a Joanne fanfic.

Chapter 28

Dianne❤️:joe and my dad came to get me from Zoe's we sat around and chatted for a bit before going back to my dads. When we got back joe seemed distant he was Hardly speaking and whenever I would say something he would just end the conversation. I put on toy story for AJ and then went over to the kitchen leaving my dad and joe alone. I saw joe whisper something and off they went into my dads room.
Joe💙:"so I want to plan something special for Dianne. Like a long weekend away. But I'll need your help. My sisters boyfriend used to live there and they still have a caravan that I could use I just don't know how to surprise Dianne"
Mark🎨:"oh joe that's lovely. I can't remember the last time Dianne had a proper holiday. Right I'll book you two train tickets for this weekend that way it gives Dianne less time to suspect things you get in contact with your sisters boyfriend and make sure you can stay. Well think about how to surprise dot afterwards"
Joe💙:I messaged Alfie to double check we could use it

Joe💙:I went back Into the living rooms and went over to mark, he showed me a booking of 2 train tickets to Brighton for this weekend. I was so excited. I decided to wait and surprise Dianne on Thursday night as we were leaving Friday after school.
{time skip to Thursday night}
Joe💙: I was terrified. What if Dianne didn't want to go, what if she said no. I placed a card on her bed along with some flowers

Joe💙:"Dianne, come here for a minute"
Dianne❤️:"ugh yes what do you want" I said laughing. I saw joe stood in front of me with some flowers and a card in his hand "what's all this for?"
Joe💙:"open the card, oh and you'll need this" I handed Dianne a penny to scratch off the place
Dianne❤️:"OMG were going away! Joe you shouldn't have"
Joe💙:"yes I should I wanted to treat you! Look we leave tomorrow after school so you need to get packing!"
Dianne❤️:"okay okay!" There were tears in my eyes no one had done this for me before in this moment I felt so loved. I fell asleep and before I knew it we were leaving to go to Brighton. I had packed everything and I was over the moon. We hopped on the train and began travelling down. This was perfect.
Joe💙:I was so excited, going to my favourite place with my favourite person as we were waiting for the train I took a picture of Dianne and posted it to Instagram.

Joe💙:whilst we were in the train, I see Dianne messaging Chloe and Amy and remember they've never actually met. I still have there numbers in my phone from when di was in hospital so I message them. I had a plan in my head.

Dianne❤️:joe spent ages on his phone while we were on the train "who you messaging"
Joe💙:"oh just my mum, just letting her know how we are" I hated lying to Dianne but I had to pull this off  I managed to message mark and get him in on it. He was going to get them from the station Sunday morning, before we got back. I was so excited
