Regulus Black had finally graduated Hogwarts and was bloody delighted to come back to wake up the next morning to an empty household, as it meant that he could go and visit his sister without a lecture of bothering them.
Rabastan had greeted him at the top of the stairs and chuckled to see how eager he was in seeing the twins. "Rory's feeling a little under the weather today, she wanted to get you at the platform." "Honestly not that big of a deal, how long has she been feeling sick for?" The conversation voted well, especially when Regulus cheered in seeing how big the two lil munchkins had gotten.
Halsey had recognized his face immediately and shown an instant want over in his direction while it took a bit of coaxing to get Romulus to get into his uncle's hold.
However, in the midst of it all...Regulus had accidentally forgotten the biggest secret while rolling up his sleeves. Now Aurora had been growing used to the mark on Rabastan's skin, but the second she saw it on her brother she dropped everything she had been holding.
Thank the goddess above she hadn't been holding her children!
Regulus had been caught in the headlights, but it wasn't him she was angry at. It was Rabastan.
The fiery look in her eyes as she stormed off into the direction of her husband. Not even a knock had brought her announcement into the room, granted he assumed it was her hormones bursting at the seams again...But this was much worse.
Regulus was at a miss on whether to leave the babies behind or rush out of the room. So as he contemplated this, his sister was able to share her rage.
In doing so she started off soft, gripping the desk in front of her as she leaned down to eye level with her husband.
"Something you wish to tell me...? Love?" He was at a loss for words, especially as this could mean practically anything so he shook his head carefully as nothing seemed to come to mind.
"Really? Not a single thing?" He had chosen the path and now he must stand by it as he shook his head for the second and final time.
"Then why is it that MY BLOODY BROTHER HAS THE DARK MARK AND NOT A SINGLE SOUL HAS TOLD ME ABOUT IT?!" Regulus had given up on the debate and simply placed the babes in the crib before running in the direction of the yelling.
