Aurora had found herself struggling to fall asleep, even with her daughters in her arms. But it's been hours and slept never found her yet, so she decided that a warm cup of tea would settle her overactive mind.

Having found the cabinet lacking tea leaves caused her to sigh, she would've ordered a shipment imminently had this been a normal night.

This was truly a moving day.

It hadn't been all that long since the kettle had been silenced, and she was graciously pouring her boiling water above some loose leaves...She had been far too demanding of the sleeping aura that the leaves would promise in an hour.

She had been kindly sipping her tea and reading over one of the many forums that slipped her notice when she was trying to get reacquainted with her husband.

Rabastan Lestrange.

The woman looked fondly over her beautiful home, the open layout allowed her to blissfully remember how this home came to be. She plowed through the plans in two days because she needed to get the children out of the small apartment that Regulus and Phoebe occupied. But even now that had been an upgraded manor as well.

Was she really turning her life around—

The sudden unlocking of the front door had caused Aurora to unveil her wand close to an instant. Causly did she stock forward in try and stop the intruder.

But a stressful sigh ceased as she groaned into the air.

"Aidan, what the bloody hell are you doing?"

Truthfully she didn't know what she was going to do had there been an unknown intruder, but she felt just a sliver of a bit better, and yet when she realized that Aidan was meant to be in California she scowled.

"...Aidan-"

"I needed to see you again." Aurora's wand had been placed down onto the table as she wrapped herself further in her night robe. "Aidan that isn't the best idea..."

"Did everything go alright? Regulus said that you were thinking of coming back every few weeks." Aurora held her tongue, though her brother and Aidan had started off on the wrong foot, they surely found common ground.

Especially if Regulus was owling him.

"It depends on Salem and the meetings, and the potion kit is still getting moved to Britain so...Aidan I thought we settled this ages ago?" Her voice was delicate, having already hurt him once was giving her immense guilt once again.

"He doesn't deserve you Rory, he doesn't deserve a single damn thing you've done for him or keep doing for him. We could've—We could've been just fine without him."

"And when the children go to Hogwarts? Perhaps if he hadn't been released Aidan, then we could've thought harder about our little Corin."

Corin.

Aidan found himself straightening his back at the temptation of their daughter, gods he prayed that Rory would surprise him with the news. But that had been before the prison release statement, that had been before they had broken up...

Before.

"I love you Rory..."

"And I love you Aidan Proctor, but dragging you into my world in Britain is the last thing I want to do. That is why I am taking you off the Britain team."

"No. Otto is the one who pushed me going, Regulus is counting on me to watch you. I am not letting you—" He had spoken rightly out of context and she was all but prepared to stand her ground.
