These are quite short, but I will post regularly, but enjoy!

Legolas climbed up the tree, elegantly, almost as if he were defying gravity. This was what he'd call his 'thinking spot'. After the War of the Ring , he had visited here often.
He had spent so much time, surrounded by other people, that once he returned back to Rivendell, he felt isolated and lonely. He had Gimli, probably one of the best things to come out of the War.
He felt useless, waiting in Rivendell. Waiting... for what? He would never be anything other than the heir to Mirkwood.
He thought of the hobbits he accompanied on the journey. The small, clueless, creatures who were content with the smallest things. He learnt a lot more from them about happiness during the journey, even though he barely spoke to them.
He thought of Aragorn. The new King of Gondor, his best friend. He always had a connection with Aragorn, from the moment he found him. Being so far away from Gimli, was sad and he missed him very much, but being so far away from Aragorn he didn't miss as much. Not because he didn't want to be around him, but because he knew that their connection wouldn't be forgotten.
He sat there, staring at the stars as he usually did. To say elves loved starlight, was an understatement.
His sharp, elf ears suddenly heard a soft 'crunch' of fallen leaves, under the tree.
His instincts took control as he swung his bow over, swiftly, and set an arrow and aimed at the ground.
"Who's there?" He warned.
"Hold your aim!"

So that was my first ever chapter!

The lovey stuff doesn't happen till like the third chapter, the first two are just to give the context, but don't skip them because it's still quite important.
Also I write more in Legolas's point of view but I'll try and vary it.
I have already written the whole story, but I'll only upload them onto wattpad when I have time.
Writing calms me down, so however bad this is, ignore it.
Or comment and tell me how I could improve.
