I haven't updated in ages. But more people are reading so it gave me motivation. But still it's not a lot of people and please share with everybody so I can continue writing. If you are reading thank you soooo much and I hope you have enjoyed so far.
Also this is quite a long chapter compared to the others
-------------------------------------------------
Aragorn had gone to the tree today.
He, somehow, had no problem tracing back there, in the darkness of the night, through endless trees and trees.
An elf had sent him here, apparently by the orders of Legolas. He tried to ignore the invite, and tried to busy himself with other things so that he would forget to go.
He had been trying to avoid Legolas, but it was always in his head, it was hard to ignore. But one time seeing him, wouldn't hurt...
And from the cover of a bush, Aragorn saw the elf, sitting at the bottom of the tree.
Ever since Aragorn fell into that river, and miraculously survived, he had had lots of time to think.
About Legolas.
About his fighting, how he never missed a shot, he was determined and brave and fearless.
At the same time he always seemed to say the right thing,or didn't speak at all. He was calm and modest, no matter what situation they found themselves in. The only time Aragorn had seen him get stressed in battle, was when he was just over-excited because he was winning against Gimli.
He was cute when he was excited. Like a little child, opening a present. Except he was having a how-many-can-you-kill competition.
Aragorn had thought about his fair hair, and blue eyes that looked like deep glistening pools of water, deep enough to get lost into.
When Legolas gave him the evenstar, once they met again, Aragorn just wanted to give it back.
So he distracted himself. By Arwen. By his duties of being king.
Aragorn stepped on a twig. Purposely. Legolas was startled for once, he did a adorable little jump. He could usually sense people's presence, something must be on his mind.
He turned around and looked at Aragorn. It was hard to see his face in the dark.
"Legolas, you wanted to see me?"
He tried to give the blond a reassuring smile, even though his heart was beating ten times more than it should be.Legolas spoke in a soft voice, "Aragorn I need to tell you something."
It was something bad, Aragorn knew it.
For a split second, he felt proud of himself, for reading Legolas's expressions so well, but then it turned into genuine worry.
"I hope it's nothing serious, or of worry"
The elf stared at Aragorn, his eyes communicating a message, a type Aragorn noticed in battle. He understood it.
Legolas seemed to feel the same way as him.
Love.
He felt his heart, thump loudly.
He needed to be honest, however crazy this was, the fact that they both secretly loved each other, was too perfect. It was like they were in the middle of a story.
" I've been thinking about it too..."
Legolas made his way to Aragorn. He stood close enough that if Aragorn wanted to kiss him, he could.Did he want to?
