I said it fuck it because I got bored

Also I was thinking earlier and out of curiosity, if you could use one meme/line to describe one of the characters in blossom what would it be? Brendon would definitely be "don't be sad... you are so thick."

"Brendon!" Hayley laughed as the mentioned began coughing hard.

"Oh my God," Dallon rubbed his back as Brendon had his coughing fit.

"I have no remorse," Josh laughed. "I told you not to eat those diablo Taco Bell sauce packets you found in your backpack. Why were they even in there?"

"I don't know!" Brendon coughed out, sucking down the water bottle he had.

The three laughed as Brendon calmed down. "You're too white for this," Hayley chuckled, picking a French fry off of his lunch tray.

"You whore!" He gasped, trying to snatch it back. She successfully put it in her mouth in time, sticking her tongue out before chewing it.

Josh shook his head, an easy smile on his face. "You guys are ridiculous," he spoke.

"You love us," Dallon grinned.

"Not as much as he loved Tyler," Brendon made kissy sounds towards Josh.

"Shut up," he leaned over and pushed his face back, blushing as he did so.

As if on cue, Josh saw his phone screen light up and glanced down. Kelly had sent him a text.

Kelly Joseph
Do not come and see Tyler.

Josh
Is everything alright?

Kelly Joseph
He's sick.

Josh
I hope he feels better!

Josh watched her leave him on read and made a face of confusion. Tyler never got sick. He was too much of a germaphobe for that.

"What's wrong?" Hayley asked.

"Tyler's sick," Josh explained hesitantly.

"Why do you sound unsure?" Dallon piped up.

Josh looked at them. "He's never sick. He hates germs and does everything he can do avoid them."

Brendon shrugged. "Maybe he caught something anyway. Immune systems can't block everything. Or maybe it's allergies."

"Maybe..." Josh trailed off, unconvinced. "I don't know. I feel like something's wrong."

"Well we have a game tonight but maybe you can go see him tomorrow. See how he's doing," Dallon suggested. "You could always text him too see how he's feeling."

Josh opened Snapchat and went to send him a message.

Josh
Hey baby I hope ur feeling better. Ur mom told me u were sick. Do u need me to bring u anything?

The message stayed on sent for a for a few minutes so Josh sighed and locked his phone. Tyler would reply soon. He would reassure Josh that everything was okay. Everything would be okay.

"I found more packets!" Brendon said excitedly as he took a handful of sauce packets out of his backpack.

"Did you not just learn your lesson?" Hayley shook her head.

"How do you even have those in there without them exploding?" Dallon asked.

Brendon gave him a look. "Babe, you know my brain has a singular cell in there. I obviously don't keep much school stuff in my bag."

Dallon took the packets out of his hand and tossed them into the garbage can in the corner of the room by their table. "No. More," he shook his head.

Brendon pouted. "Kiss my spicy lips then," he closed his eyes and puckered up.

"Ew!" Hayley laughed loudly, covering her face with her hands. "Don't ever say that again."

Dallon pecked his lips quickly resulting in a disappointed gasp from Brendon. "That was not a kiss."

"Yes it was," Dallon argued. "Just not a good one."

The three all cracked up and Josh forced himself to laugh along, even if a little voice in his head was telling him something was wrong with Tyler.

---

The next day after school Josh went straight to Tyler's house. Tyler hasn't replied to him at all the last two days. He could only hope that Tyler was just too sick to be on his phone.

He didn't bring anything for Tyler since he didn't know what kind of sick he was and figured that he could check on his boyfriend first before going and getting him anything he needed.

Josh pulled into the familiar driveway, parking before getting out. He hurried up the stairs and rang the doorbell before waiting anxiously.

Five minutes of waiting and another press on the doorbell later, the door opened slightly and Tyler's face was visible through the few inches it was open. "What?" He snapped.

Josh frowned. "Your mom told me you were sick and you weren't texting me back so I thought something was wrong and needed to come check on you."

"If I do not respond to your messages I do not want to talk."

"Ty? What has gotten into you? Are you okay?"

"You need to leave," Tyler spoke sadly.

"What?"

Tyler let out an annoyed sighed and went to shut the door on Josh but the older slid his foot in the doorway stopping it. Tyler turned his head slightly and Josh caught a glance at his face, his heart dropping.

"What happened to your face?" Josh asked.

"Nothing."

"What happened to your face?" Josh repeated sternly, pushing the door open. He gasped when he saw the red mark and scratch on his cheek. "Did someone—"

"Would you like to know what happened, Joshua? My mother hit me. She hit me right across the face because I told her we were dating. Would you like to know how she found out?"

"Tyler..."

"She saw the hickeys that you left! I trusted you! I trusted you with all my heart and you always assured me she wouldn't find out!"

"I'm sorry..." Josh said guiltily, his face falling.

"Sorry isn't going to work!" Tyler stressed. "My mother threatened to send me away for talking to you ever again and I cannot risk that."

"Tyler, please," Josh's voice cracked, his throat tightening. He reached out and grabbed Tyler's wrist.

Tyler instantly pulled his arm with such distaste Josh wanted to sob. He watched a tear slip down Tyler's hurt cheek. "Do not touch me. Do not talk to me. Leave me alone. We're over."

That sob managed to come out. "Tyler. I love you."

Tyler glared at him. "You ruined everything. I hate you, Josh."

He slammed the door shut and Josh stood there, his lip quivering.

"I thought it was Joshua," he whispered, tears falling down his own cheeks.
