So I actually cried writing this chapter lmao just writer things

Tyler was sat in class, his head in his hand and his eyes drooping closed.

He had never ever fallen asleep in class but it's been a week since he broke up with Joshua and he's spent every night laying in bed and hugging Benji while he sobbed quietly. He cried more than he slept and when he did manage to get any sleep it wasn't a good sleep.

On top of it all, after he had seen Joshua's Snapchat story of him with a girl, he had unadded him and deleted the app before his mom decided he was too irresponsible to have his phone anymore. She gave him a flip phone to use in case of an emergency but that's all.

Tyler let out a breath and blinked a few times. They were doing a silent reading of their class book but Tyler had finished it all on Monday when they got it so he was just sitting there bored.

Deciding to do something to wake himself up, he got up and went to his teacher's desk. "May I use the restroom?" He asked quietly.

His teacher glanced up at him. "After class, Mr. Joseph."

Suddenly, it felt like all the pent up anger Tyler's been experiencing the past week was rising to the surface. The anger of being slapped, the anger of his sexuality being called an issue, the anger of having to break up with his boyfriend because he was scared, the anger of seeing Joshua with someone else, the anger of his mom taking his phone for absolutely no reason at all.

With that pent up anger came a sentence he thought he would never say but it came out of his mouth anyway.

"What the hell am I supposed to do? Piss on the floor?"

He knew he said it loud enough for his class to hear. He knew people were staring at him. He didn't care.

His teacher look at him in shock. Tyler has never once acted like this. "Pardon?" His teacher replied.

"I said—" Tyler leaned down slightly. "—am I supposed to piss on the floor?"

His teacher went from shock to anger as he opened his drawer and grabbed a notepad from it, tearing the top sheet off and scribbling on it. "You can use the bathroom right after you march yourself to the principal's office, Mr. Joseph. I'll be calling the office to let them know you're on your way down."

Tyler glared at him and went back to his desk, grabbing his backpack and leaving the classroom.

He made his way into the main office and with the secretary's guidance, back to the principal's office. He didn't process what had happened until he was sitting down and the principal was looking at him.

Tyler wanted to burst into tears. "I'm sorry," he said quickly.

The principal, a nice man in his early 50s named Mr. Walker, gave Tyler a worried look. "Mr. Joseph I have never once seen you in my office in your two years at this school other than to discuss your scholarship. This slip says you were using foul language and being a class disruption. What happened?"

Tyler sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "I don't know," he said honestly. "I snapped. I did not mean to."

Mr. Walker looked at him. "Are you doing alright, Mr. Joseph?"

Tyler glanced at him. What was he supposed to say to that. "Uh..."

"You seem worked up. Is your school load too much work for you or anything?"

"Not at all," Tyler promised. "Just some stress in my personal life," he added vaguely.

Mr. Walker nodded. "Okay, so that I can further assess this I need you to tell me what happened. What foul language was used?"
