Narrator P.O.V
Rani and Todoroki walked back to class in silence. It wasn't an awkward silence, at least to Rani. It didn't take long for them to arrive, quickly making their way to the back of the classroom and sitting in their assigned seats.
With only a second to spare, Aizawa walked in and began the lesson. By the end of the lesson, Rani had ended up doodling in a small book she had with her. Using her pencil, she began to shade in certain areas as the bell went.
Doing her normal routine, Rani grabbed her things and stood up. Before she could even move, however, Uraraka had walked over to her, with a bright smile across her face.
"Hey Rani, the girls are thinking of having a sleepover this weekend. We were wondering if you wanted to come?" Rani placed the last of her things back into her back before smiling brightly back at her.
"Of course! If we haven't already decided, I'd be happy to host it at my place." A classmate who she hadn't talk to very much suddenly walked over to her. Rani knew her as Momo, one of the other students suggested by recommendations.
"That would be awesome, Rani. I'll make sure to bring snacks and such." To this Rani nodded, making sure to quickly add on.
"Don't bring anything too huge though, I'll make sure we have the meals supplied." Both Uraraka and Momo nodded to her, and Rani took this as her chance to head off. With her backpack with her, Rani made her way out of the classroom. When she did so, however, she found there were more students in the hallway than normal.
Tsu suddenly walked over to her, and the two stared out into the sea of students together. "What's with the crowd?" Rani asked. Tsu turned to look at her, placing one finger on her chin.
"I think Bakugou got into a fight with someone last week, before you came. I guess word just got around about it, ribbit."
Rani nodded, slightly surprised it had taken this long for it to become news. Rani then walked into the corridor, trying her best to avoid the groups of students clogging the hallway. As she made her way through, she found herself behind none other than the man in question, Bakugou himself.
However, out of nowhere, someone she didn't recognise walked between the two of them, and sped up to catch up with the explosion boy. Rani, still continuing on with her original speed, listened carefully to the conversation that now had started in the hallway. It wasn't hard, after all, all of the other students had stopped to look at the commotion.
"Hey Asshat." The student unknown to Rani stated. Bakugou stopped in his place and turned around, not looking concerned or angry. He honestly looked tired, and that he wasn't in the mood to deal with this guys bullshit.
"I heard you bet up my friend last week, is that right?" Bakugou, with his expression unchanged, answered instantly.
"Which one? You mean the wimp who challenged me first?" A few 'Ohhhs' could be heard from the crowd, but neither Bakugou nor the other student reacted. The student, who looked to be about a 3rd year growled at Bakugou.
"You bastard..! You first years should know your place!"
"Not my fault you guys are extras." The entirety of the gathered crowd gasped. Class 1A had come out of the classroom, and now were among those present.
The 3rd year bastard looked at Bakugou with a shocked expression. It wasn't long before it changed. From where Rani was standing, she was sure she saw something in his eyes snap, and she knew Bakugou had crossed a line with this guy.
This man, who from the whispers, she had found out was part of class 3A, raised a fist at Bakugou. The angry Chiwawa raised his own hand, getting ready to activate his quirk.
Without thinking, Rani felt her legs move on their own accord. She heard slight gasps from behind her, but despite knowing it was her classmates, she didn't stop. As the 3rd year moved his hand towards Bakugou at a staggering speed, Rani herself made her way to the front.
As the gust of wind created by the 3rd year cleared, both he and the surrounding crowd, including Bakugou, looked at Rani in shock. Rani on the other hand, stood there with his fist in her own hand.
She didn't look strained, and had her signature smile on her face. From behind the male, she saw the faces of her classmates. After just a moment, her attention turned to the 3rd year who had almost punched her classmate. Her face unchanged, and the smile still annoying obvious on her face, she spoke.
"Hi there! I'm Rani Fujumoto, a member of Class 1A and a classmate of Bakugou's. I'm going to have to ask you to step away and leave him alone, if that's alright with you." The face of the 3rd year turned from Shock to anger, venom painfully apparent in his voice, but not at Rani.
"It's good to see that we have still have SOME good heroes in training, but I can't do that. Your classmate there attacked a friend of mine, and I won't let him get away with that."
From behind Rani, she felt Bakugou's breath become more noticeable, as if he was just about to speak. Using her free hand. She turned a finger to him, signalling for him to shut up. Thankfully, he took the hint as She responded to her upperclassmen.
"Thank you very much for that compliment! But I'm afraid that **I** can't let **you** do that. As a member of Class 1A, I know better than anyone that he's a pain, but he's still my classmate. Please allow myself and his classmates to deal with the situation."
The upperclassmen seemed to have had enough with interruptions, and took his fist out of Rani's hand. He turned to her, anger on his face, and spoke sharply to her.
"If you seem so into protecting your classmate, then fight me, first year!" Rani lowered her own hand and crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow at his claim.
"And why would I do such a thing?"
"If you win, I leave your classmate alone, If I win, however, I get him expelled from school!" Rani heard gasps from the crowd around them, the most seeming to come from 3rd years such as himself and her own classmates.
Rani took a moment to examine the boys' features, before nodding her head, smirking.
"Very well, courtyard then?" He nodded, before making his way there straight away. The crowd followed suit, with Rani in the middle somewhere.
