♡ USJ (Pt 1) ♡

Rani P.O.V

Over the weekend I didn't really do much, I just spent most of it on the internet chatting with Eclipse. When I arrived in class Monday Morning, I simply sat down and stared at the window, lost in thought.

Suddenly, Kirishima came up to me and tapped me on the shoulder. "Hey Rani."

"Hey Kirishima." I said, without turning my attention away from the window.

"You ok? You seem a little different."

"Yeah. I'm fine, I'm just thinking about something." I finally turn to him and smile, he has noticiable concern on his face.

"Oh, that makes sense I suppose... Just know you can talk to us about it, we're friends right?" I nod.

"Yeah. We are. Thanks Kirishima." He slowly nods once again and walks back to his seat. I sigh to myself and turn back to the window. I didn't lie, I did have something on my mind. Well, more like 3 things.

Eventually, everyone arrived and it wasn't long before Aizawa came in. He explained to us we would be doing rescue mission training. He told us that it was being held in a different area, an odd campus facility, so we were going there via a bus.

Iida tried to get us into 2 straight lines and do a seating plan, but unfortunately for him, the bus had a different setup. Either way, everyone ended up sitting wherever they wanted. I ended up sitting next to Todoroki, who looked unimpressed with life and dead inside.

So I sat next to him and ended up listening to music on my phone. My classmates were having their own conversations.

"If we're talking about flashy quirks, it's got to be Todoroki, Rani and Bakugou right? ribbit." I heard Tsu say over my music.

"I have to agree. You remember the flames around Rani? Her quirk is powerful AND beautiful!" Kaminari responded. From the corner of my eye, I thought I saw Todoroki tense for a moment, and in front of me, I thought I saw Bakugou twitch. The group continued to chat about Bakugou's quirk, to which he shouted back at them.

"Bakugou! Todoroki is trying to sleep!" I semi whisper-yelled at him. After who knows how long, I felt my eyelids drop as I fell into a light sleep, my phone dropped onto my lap with the music still playing.

Narrator P.O.V

The class continued to have their conversations before Uraraka suddenly whisper-yelled.

"Guys..! Look at Rani and Todoroki..!" Everyone's conversation came to a halt, as they turned to their two classmates. Rani was asleep with her head on Todoroki's shoulder, and to their classmates, it looked like Todoroki was as well.

"Aww..! Cute..!" Mina said. Uraraka was standing right beside them taking snaps from all angles, while the others just seemed to be admiring the cute sight. Bakugou turned around to look at them both for a moment, but quickly went back to looking out the window.

He was pretending like he didn't care, but deep down there was a burning fire of rage he had never felt before. Not even towards Deku. Todoroki on the other-hand was well aware of Rani's head on his shoulder, and although he looked calm and asleep on the outside, inside was a different story.

His heart was beating faster then he knew it could, and he was so still in fear of waking the violet-haired girl. He kept wondering to himself what he was doing, why he was feeling what he was. He had NEVER felt this before, and he couldn't understand it. In the back of his mind, he silently cursed Rani, although it wasn't in hate. He just was so confused about what she was making him feel.

Rani P.O.V

After what seemed like only a second, I felt a hand gently shake me awake. I groaned slightly, half tempted to dig my head into whatever I was laying on, but then I realised it was hard and seemed a little round, So I sat up and rubbed my eyes. When I finally opened them, I saw Todoroki looking at me.

"Come on, we're here." He said, standing up. What happened had finally hit me, I fell asleep on Todoroki's shoulder.

"R-Right!" I quickly said, standing up and making my way out of the bus. When I finally got off, Uraraka rushed over to me, a grin plastered on her face. I raised an eyebrow at her, before I sighed internally, walking with her into the building, which Aizawa had called the USJ.

When we got inside, we were greeted with Pro Hero 13. The class were all surprised and happy,  I, on the other hand, just simply smiled at him. It had been quite a while since I'd seen 13, and it was good to hear from him again.

Aizawa then walked over to 13, and began to talk to him. He held up 3 fingers, which was a symbol I knew all too well. After about a minute, the 2 walked over to us. 13 began to give us a speech about how Quirks, although helpful, can also be used to kill, and to be careful with them.

As if the universe had decided to play irony on us, from behind 13, there suddenly appeared a vortex of purple. Immediately, my body became tense, going into a battle position.

"13! Aizawa! Behind you!" I call. The two turn around instantly and spot the exact same thing.

"Is this part of the training?" Iida questioned. I turn to him, my smile was gone and my expression serious.

"No, those are real villains!" I say. The expressions of my classmates turn from confusion to fear, as they look at our teachers.

"13! Protect the students" Aizawa calls at him. 13 nods and stands in front of us.

"Mr Aizawa! You're better suited for Stealth then head-on battle!" Midoriya takes a step forward and explains. Aizawa turned around to face him, his expression almost the same as mine.

"You can't be called a pro without more than one trick up your sleeve." He then turns to me. "Rani, Help 13. I trust you can handle yourself."

"On it, Eraser!" I smirk and reply confidently. As Aizawa rushes towards the villains, I step forward and stand beside 13. The two of us are ready for anything that might come. 13 turns around to look at my classmates, while I keep my eye on the villains in front of us.

"Kaminari, try to contact the teachers at school."

"On it!" Suddenly, I hear a voice among the villains say something.

"I thought All-might was going to be here.." A blue-haired male says, He has hands covering his entire body. From face to arms to legs. Whatever he said next, I didn't hear, but beside him, I see a man covered in a blackish substance, like what we first saw.

"They must be the leaders.." I mumble to myself. I come back into reality when I hear 13 tell my classmates to run, he then turns to me without saying anything. He takes one look at my face and realises I'm not leaving. When I turn back to the villains, I find that the vortex looking guy disappeared.

My eyes widen as I turn my head at my classmates, finding him, as I expected, standing in front of their exit. I rush forward, My legs moving on their own, before I stand in front of my friends and classmates.

"Whatever you are, back the fuck away from my classmates!" I growl at him. He looks at me, before remaining silent for a moment. He then turns his attention away from me directly and speaks to all of us.

"Sorry, I can't let you guys leave." He speaks in a deep voice. I growl and get ready to attack, when suddenly out of the corner of my eye I spot Bakugou leap out from behind me and run towards the villain, followed only moments after by Kirishima.

"KATSUKI! KIRISHIMA!"
