Narrator P.O.V
Rani and Shoto stood there, his arms wrapped around her waist. The two stared into each other's eyes, gasping for air, both surprised by what happened.
After just a few moments, Shoto slowly removes his arms from Rani, taking a step back. His face was red, his arms by his side, eyes full of worry, shock and confusion.
Rani, with her arms by her side, allowed her head to fall slightly. Her face was one of confusion and shock, unable to say anything. The two continued to stand there in silence for a bit, before Shoto speaks up.
"I-I'm so sorry Rani.. I don't know what came over me I-"
"It's... ok." Rani interrupts suddenly.
Shoto turns to her, eyes full of both a little bit of relief but mainly surprise. "H-Huh..?"
Rani opens her mouth to speak, but freezes. She closes it again, waits a moment, and goes to speak once more. This time however, she's interrupted by Fuyumi.
"S-Shoto! Rani! Come on, you guys are heading off now..!" Rani swiftly turns away from Shoto and to Fuyumi, nodding.
Rani turns around for a quick moment, locking eyes with him. "W-We'll talk about this L-Later.." And with that, Rani makes her way back inside the house and to her parents.
Shoto, on the other hand, stands beneath the tree for a few more moments, still processing what he'd done. After a few moments, he lifts his hand and stares into his palm.
Rani is silent as her parents say goodbye to Enji, before the 4 of them make their way out the door and back to their car. On the way home, James questions Rani on her silence, to which she simply shakes her head and replies that nothing is wrong.

Rani P.O.V
When I wake up Monday morning, the first thing I'm greeted with is the memory of the kiss between me and Shoto. I sit up straight away, shaking my head.
"I need to talk to someone.." I mumble under my breath, before turning and grabbing my phone from my beside table. I quickly log on, getting up out of bed and grabbing my uniform, I then text Eclipse.

Eclipse. I need to talk to you, ASAP.

I place my phone on my bed, quickly walking into my bathroom and getting changed. I decide to place my hair up into a high pony tail, before making my way back to my bed, picking up my machine. When I check my screen, I find that my childhood friend had responded.
