Rani P.O.V

Myself and Shoto stood outside of the building for a moment. None of us moved, nor made a single sound. It wasn't long, however, until I spotted Shoto move is head from the corner of my eye. Turning to look at each other, we met gazes. Todoroki looked over my face for a second, before opening his mouth and speak.

"Are you sure you're okay with this?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

All I could do was nod and respond. "Of course. I wouldn't have come if I wasn't." Todoroki looks over for another moment before nodding, turning his attention back to the door. Grabbing the handle of his suitcase behind him once again, he made his way towards the door, followed shortly after by me.

As we walked through the door together, we got a few stares from people present in the waiting room. Some held confusion, but most held a sense of surprise and joy. I think it might have been because they recognised us, but I'm not sure. Todoroki I don't think notices, as he walks straight towards the desk lady. He quickly explains the situation to her, before she points her finger at a elevator to her left.

Todoroki nods at her before walking towards it, leaving me to thank her before following after. As I arrive beside Todoroki again, he's waiting for the door to open. We stand there in silence for a moment, an angry scrowl on his face for an unknown reason.

The door opens after a few seconds, and the two of us walk in with our stuff. Todoroki, once in, turns to the buttons and hits for the 30th floor. The Door closes and we're left in silence again. I mainly tried to avoid looking in his general direction, since you could sense the tense and could cut it with a knife. But at the same time, I understood that the tension wasn't directed at me, but at his father who we would be working under for an entire week.

Thankfully, the door opens shortly after. Todoroki ushes me forward first, and frankly, I don't know if it was because he was being a gentleman or because he wanted me to be the first person in front of his father. The two of us walk down the corridor for a moment, before to my right I spot a huge door, and I immediately know that it's Endeavor's Office.

Giving one more look at Todoroki, who nods his head, I turn back to the door and knock. It takes a second, but a voice calls beyond the door.

"Come in"

Instantly, I grab hold of the door handle and push the door open, revealing a massive room which, surprisingly, wasn't very filled at all. Turning my attention straight ahead, I'm greeted with the figure of Endeavor, who mainly has his attention focussed on some sort of paperwork in his hands.

Todoroki, who is now standing level beside me, clears his throat not at all subtly, causing Endeavor to look up from his paper with an eyebrow raised. He then eyes the both of us, standing up after a second and making his way away from the desk and to us. Endeavor walks to stand in front of us, arms crossed.

His attention almost instantly shifts to me, speaking with his normal high-and-mighty voice. "Greetings, Fujimoto. A pleasure to see you again."

Nodding slowly, I respond. "You too, Endeavor. How have you been recently?"

"Decent. Thank you for asking." Endeavor's attention then shifts to Todoroki, who's been glaring at him this entire time. From the way Endeavor looks at Todoroki, I know he has very much to say about Todoroki choosing him, and from the way Todoroki glared back, he knew it as well.

But for whatever reason, Endeavor chooses not to say anything. Maybe it was because I was present, but after a few moments, he turns back around and walks towards his desk.

"Before I start explaining how this is going to work, there is something I must give you Rani."

Raising an eyebrow, I watch him grab some sort of Envelope from his desk and walk back over to us. Todoorki watches with much more caution then myself as he hands it over. Almost instantly, I turn it around and use my nail to break the seal, instantly pulling the note from its package, I carefully unfold the note and read.
