Damian's pov

I stood up so fast from the chair that it fell. I stared at Robin in shock. Every fibre of my being was hoping he'll laugh and say it was all a joke. But as the seconds ticked by, I knew it wasn't. Though Robin still stood in front of me, head bleeding, I still didn't believe it. I didn't want to believe it. So I asked, just to be sure.
"What are you talking about? Which miss Carlos are you referring to?"
Deep down, I knew the answer. A part of me understood what he was talking about, another part wished for it to be a lie. An entire dam of anger was hanging by a thin thread, just waiting to be let loose. My sanity was wearing thin. But my face stayed calm. So calm you'd never suspect a storm was brewing underneath. My eyes were lit with fire, a pure reflection of the anger hidden within. I glared at Robin, willing him to talk, give me a reply but dreading his answer.
"Mia sir. S-she was taken from school"
Robin stuttered. He took a step back from me. I felt a weird satisfaction at that. Good he should be scared. No amount of distance can protect him from me when I unleash the fire burning within me. I lowered my head. I breathe slowly through my mouth, as if every breath was accounted for and had a major role to play in me. I closed my eyes, willing my control in place, clenching my fists. I raised my head slowly, my eyes hard and focused on him. I smiled softly, a sadistic and vengeful smile.
"And where were you when this happened?" I questioned, my voice even, sounding oddly pleasant.
Robin gulped, his hand dropped from the towel he held to his head. Blood trickled down his cheeks but was ignored. With his head lowered, he replied
"I was knocked out cold sir"
I nodded slowly, assimilating this information. I tasted the words around my lips, weighing them
"You we're knocked out cold."
It wasn't really a question but Robin  affirmed quietly
"Yes sir"
That did it. I exploded. My anger pounced a mountain lion on its prey.
I walked out to Robin. For every step I walked forward, Robin took a step backwards. It was like a hunt. Only this time, I wanted blood. Blood for whoever dared to take my sister from me. I grabbed Robin with the front of his shirt and jerked him close to me. The fact that I was taller gave me an advantage. I felt a odd thrill of satisfaction when I could look down at him. With a menacing smile, my voice calm, barely above a whisper
"You'd better pray to your God that nothing happens to my sister or else you'd wish whoever caused that bruise on your head had killed you because that'll look like a scratch to what I'd do to you"

Mia's pov

I struggled against Aiden's hold as he pulled me out from the truck of the car. I looked around and discovered we were in a deserted location. Fields stretched out for miles and in the middle of it sat a dilapidated looking shack. Seeing as there's nothing else for miles, I assumed that was our destination. I was right when Aiden began to pull me towards it. When we got there, he held me firmly with one hand and used the other hand to pull out a key. He inserted the key into the keyhole and the door swung open. Aiden shoved me inside and I fell ungracefully on the floor. The interior was worse than the outer look. The roof looked like it was gonna cave in and collapse anytime soon. Cobwebs lined the roof and spilled to the ground. The floor was covered with dusts and what looked like animal faeces. On a corner was what looked like rat carcass. The whole look was concluded with an offensive odour coming from God knows where. There was a chair in the middle of the shack and ropes on the floor beside it. I gasped when I realized something. The chair looked clean and out of place which means Aiden must have brought them here before he set out to kidnap me. Tears pooled my eyelids and I struggled to hold them in. I won't give this bastard the pleasure of seeing me cry. I won't let him have that much power. Aiden pulled me up roughly from the floor and dumped me on the chair. Wordlessly he began to tie my arms and legs to the chair. I was quiet while he walked. My mind racing with ideas. When he was done, he tugged the rope to check if it was firm enough. Satisfied, he took a step back and began staring at me. I stared back at him, trying to move without him realizing. I tugged my hands and realize the rope was firm but not to tight. There was enough room to wriggle out of it. I smiled to myself. Though Aiden kidnapped me, it's obvious he still cared about me enough to make sure I wasn't feeling discomfort in this odd circumstance.
"It's all your fault you know" Aiden's voice filtered through the silence. I stared at him confused. It's my fault my ex boyfriend turned into a psychotic bastard and kidnapped me?
"What do you mean?" I asked. I wasn't really interested in his answer. I just wanted to keep him distracted long enough for me to wriggle out of this bounds. Aiden signed and replied
"It's your fault I had to do this. If you had accepted me back into your life, I wouldn't have been forced to do resort to this"
I scoffed dryly. Accept you back? In your dreams buddy. He let out a breath and wiped his hand down his face. He took a step closer to me and I stopped moving my arms.
"Don't worry, you'll thank me later for this. No one will look for you. Karen's parents don't care about you. And I'm sure Karen doesn't either. Your rich boyfriend will forget about you after some time. When everything settles down, I'll fly you with my dad's jet to Vegas. We'll get married there and be together forever."
Aiden smiled at his supposed brilliant plan. As for me, I was just staring at him wondering how dense he was not to hear how stupid he sounded. Rich boyfriend? Where did he get that idea? Maybe that's what Karen told him when I arrived in school with a limousine. How stupid is he going to look when I tell him I found my biological family? I shook my head at that. Better not, let him wallow in his stupid. Aiden rubbed my shoulders in a comforting gesture. I had to force myself not to flinch away from him. No need to anger him. He smiled at me and said
"I know you must be starving. It was a long drive and I'm sure you were not comfortable in the trunk. Sorry about that. Don't worry, I'll go get you some food" With that said, he walked out, whistling a tune off key. With a new sense of determination, I began to wriggle out of the ropes. Hopefully by the time he comes back, I'll be out of here.
