Carlisle's pov
"Shit!"
I cursed as I noticed Mia's body became limp. Without second thoughts, I dove in time and caught her before she hit the hard ground. I swung her limp body into my arms and carried her to the couch. I laid her body on the couch, as comfortable as one could be on the couch. I barely noticed the crowd of concerned people around me. All I could think of was her limp body. For the short period I've known her, she has always been energetic, bubbly and excited. Seeing her limp and vulnerable broke whatever part of my heart I had left. I pressed my fingers to her neck and felt the pulse beating steadily. Great! She's alive! Now to deal with the issue on ground. I turned my furious gaze to Damian. He was busy staring at Mia so he didn't know I was imagining different ways to kill him. I waited for few minutes if he'll notice me staring by he didn't. I let out a frustrated growl which immediately got his attention. He flinched at the intensity of my glare for a second before slipping his blank facade on.
"Who the Herod Aiden and why the hell does he have so much effect on her?" I growled out, trying to contain my temper. It wouldn't do me any good to loose my temper on him when I plan to make his sister mine. Felix looked confused but I noticed the guilt oh no Karen's face. What does she have to do with this?
"It's none of your business" Damian snapped at me. I clenched my fists tight to keep myself from punching him. Breathe Carlisle! Breathe!
"The hell it's none of my business. She's lying there unconscious just because you mentioned a motherfucking name. Now I want to know why the hell she's so affected by that name?" I yelled at Damian, eyes blazing with anger. Karen studied me for a moment before sighing.
"I think he has a right to know Damian" Karen said to Damian, her voice soft. I noticed Damian's eyes softened for a second.
"No he doesn't." He said to Karen and turned to glare at me.
"No you don't. She's my sister and of no concern of yours. This is a family affair. What gives you the right to meddle in our affairs? What makes you think you have the right to know what's going on?" Damian snapped at me. I didn't think it was possible but his words succeeded in making me angrier. So angry I didn't think before speaking.
"Because she's mine. Mia is mine"
The words just flowed out of my mouth and I was stunned on how true they were. Mia became mine the moment I set my eyes on her._____________________________
Felix's pov
The first word that came to mind immediately I heard Carlisle's confession was 'Shit'. I have to admit, that was hot. Don't blame me but it's such a turn on to see a hard hearted man claim who he wants in front of her equally hard hearted brother. Immediately after carlisle's confession, the atmosphere became awkward. The tension in the room was enough to move mount Everest. I had to get outta here. I grabbed Karen and by her good arm and pulled her out of the room. I knew those two would have to talk and I'd rather not be there when that happens. I closed the door quietly behind me and walked Karen to her room. With the way she came willingly, I knew she had tons of questions and I was dreading every single one of them. Immediately we got to the guest room she was staying. I pulled her into my arms and hugged her. She leaned into my embrace and I smiled to myself. Good! She has accepted me as her brother. I was afraid she migrfeel some sort of animosity towards me.
"I know you have lots of questions and I'll answer them all when the time is right. Just not now." I whispered into her ears. Before she could say anything in reply, I pulled away from her and walked away. I heard her call for me desperately but I ignored her. It broke my heart to treat her this way but it was for her own safety. I've already lost a father and mother, I'm not about to lose my sister too.
"What will you like to order sir?" a voice broke me away from my thoughts. I looked around to see I had unconsciously walked to a cafe. How the hell did I get here? I wondered. I looked at the voice that spoke to me and saw a Greek god lookalike staring at me with amusement. I realized I had been standing there staring into space. I felt a blush creep up my cheeks and I bit my lip hard enough to draw blood trying to prevent my face from turning a deep shade of red. I looked at the name tag on the shirt of the Greek God still staring at me. The tag read Drew. Why is he staring at me like that? Do I have something on my face? I wondered. Drew arched a brow at me and I realized he was waiting for an answer. Jeez! How embarrassing.
"E-erm I'll have a cheese burger and soda" I stuttered out. I mentally facepalm myself. Since when do I stutter? I have killed lots of people without flinching yet one look from a certain Greek god and I turn to mush. Wait a minute! What's wrong with me? Am I attracted to him? I just met him for crying out loud.
"I'll be right back with your order" Drew said with a wink. It's as if he heard what was going through my mind. I lowered my head to hide the ridiculous blush that covered my face. I looked around for an empty booth and found one in a secluded corner. I walked over to it and sat down. I decided to use the time to waiting for my order to give myself a pep talk. As much as I hated to admit it, I needed to have better control of myself before drew comes back. I can't go about blushing like a school boy about to have sexual for the first time. It's mortifying and completely ridiculous. I felt someone slide into the chair opposite mine and I looked up to see Drew smirking at me. He was holding a tray that contained my order.
"So hottie, can we talk?" Drew asked in a husky voice so sensual I felt it in my bones. Everything about him screamed trouble and I felt myself being attracted to him. I gulped trying to steady my racing heart beat.
Oh boy!Sorry for the delay. Leave a comment and vote for me. Thanks
