Aiden's pov

I laid down on my bed in my room listening to music and playing video games. What do you expect? I'm bored. Since my friends have practically abandoned me, I have no one to hang out with. I hate it but there's nothing I can do. All they want is for me to get Mia back. I've tried and it would have worked if only that meddling bitch named Karen had not interfered. I mean, must she stick her nose into my business to get me to notice her? There's nothing appealing about that. Of course there's her pussy but I've banged that so many times it's a surprise its still attached to her. What did you expect me to do when she practically offered herself to me immediately she hit puberty? Then Mia had not blossomed into the ripe fruit she is now. Besides if only Mia had not caught Karen and I, I'd have succeeded in banging both of them. The thought gave me a huge thrill. A threesome. One experienced, the other a novice. It'll be spectacular. I'd have to arrange that. As soon as the investigation for Mia's kidnap has subsided, I'd get Mia and Karen and have my fantasy. It'll be amazing.
Suddenly I began to feel the familiar itch that has become a routine for me now. Immediately I stood up from the bed and went to the door. I locked it with the key and added the deadbolt for precautions. One can never be too careful. If I'm caught doing what I'm about to do, it'll be the end for me. That's if my dad doesn't send me to a military school. I walked back to the bed and knelt on the floor beside it. I reached under the bed and pulled out a transparent envelope containing the white powder that always made me feel better. I stood up with the envelope and walked over to the reading table at the corner of my room. I pulled out the chair and sat down on it, resting my elbows on the table. Carefully, I unsealed the envelope and poured part of the white powder on the table. I arranged it horizontally till it was too my satisfaction. Eager for the thrill, I leaned and inhaled the white powder into my nose. My head felt light, my problems far away. I was on a huge cloud of contentment. I savoured the feeling for a moment before leaning down and inhaling a bigger portion. It was exhilarating. I felt strong, courageous and without a care in the world. My problems receded to the back of my mind and all I could care about that moment was the thrill I felt. The thrill only hard drugs like this could give me. The thrill I know I'll hate when I'm sober.

Mia's pov

I saw Karen to the front door and watched as she got into the cab. I watched the cab drive away till it was out of sight. I felt the waves of loneliness hit me and I began to miss her already. Though we were enemies for a while, it wasn't hard to rekindle the love that made us best friends. I didn't want her to leave. But she was adamant about it. I had a feeling she was home sick. Not for the house, but for the person living in the house. Her mother. Though she'll never admit it, I could tell she was hurt by the fact that Helen didn't seem to care for her. All Helen was concerned about was money. She believed if Karen had money to spend, then she doesn't need her presence. I could tell the thought hurt Karen more than she'd like to admit. When I was living there, at least we had each other to rely on. With me gone and her father awol, Karen had only her unreliable mother to fall back on. That was exactly why she left. She was hoping to meet Helen at home and perhaps spend some time with her. Knowing Helen as much as I do, Karen was just setting herself up for disappointment. Having just found my family and with the way we relate to each other, it'll kill me if anyone of them treated me like the way Helen treated Karen. Though Damian is a very busy man, he always makes time for his little sister. And me being me, I take advantage of it every chance I get. Which I think I'll do now. I turned and headed straight to the study where I knew Damian has been holed in for a while now.

Damian's pov

I've been sitting at this table for hours trying to get some work done. Presently the total number of work I've got done is zero. Yeah you heard me, zero. And it's all the fault of a certain blonde who my sister brought into the house. I won't mention a name but she has invaded my senses and rendered me completely useless. Wonderful. Note the sarcastic expression. How can a tiny blonde who happens to be my sister best friend occupy my mind so much? It's unheard off. The thoughts I was having about her aren't exactly described as decent. Nope not even a little bit. The thoughts could make a porn star suddenly turn shy. Believe me, it was shocking to me too but I couldn't exactly stop myself. Like I said, she has invaded my senses. Apart from her physical features, he name alone sends blood rushing to the organ between my thighs. I pride myself on amazing self control. Eric also admires my amazing self control. But I wonder what he'll think if he here's about me loosing whatever control I had over a blonde lady who is the same age as my little sister. I'd never hear the end of the teasing. Thank God he's away visiting his family. He'd have noticed my lack of concentration and nagged till I told him exactly what's going on. Which is extremely embarrassing to even think of, not to talk of saying it.
A knock broke me away from my thoughts and I gratefully dropped the paper I was supposed to be reading. I needed something to distract my thoughts since work couldn't.
"Come in!" I called out. The door opened and Mia strolled in. Unconsciously I looked behind her and noticed no one was there.
"Where's your friend?" The question escaped my lips before I could even think of stopping it. I groaned inwardly at how I practically hinted to Mia. God help me if she finds out about my thoughts about her friend.
Mia gave me a knowing look but answered nonetheless
"She left already" Her voice sounded bored but held different implications. I clenched my teeth to stop myself from embarrassing myself by asking another silly question.
"So what do you want?" I asked, eager to get rid of her. Suddenly her presence wasn't the distraction I needed. I couldn't stand her knowing look any longer.
"I need a favour from you" Mia said. My attention was immediately focused on Mia. If there was one thing I couldn't resist, it was the opportunity to give Mia something.
"What is it? Name it and it's yours"
I assured her. Mia beamed at me and I smiled back at her.
"Please I need you to help talk to the detective in charge of my kidnap" She said. I frowned at her. That was definitely not what I expected her to say. I thought she'll request for a car or something else. I was genuinely curious as to why she wanted me to speak with the douche detective.
"Why do you want me to speak to him?" I inquired softly. Mia smiled, her cheeks suddenly covered in blush.
"I just want you to convince him to let  Karen and I speak to Aiden secretly when he is finally arrested." She explained. I began shooting my head before she was even done. There's no way I'm letting my sister within a five mile radius with that lunatic. Mia pouted at me and whined
"Please Damian, we really need to talk to him" Mia pleaded. I was exasperated. I sighed and asked
"What do you want to speak to him about?" I asked her. I was curious. It must be important for Mia to plead this way. She scratched the back of her head suddenly looking sheepish.
"Not talk. We want to do something."
I huffed at her cryptic answer.
"Do what?" I pressed. Mia's smiling face was replaced with a hard look.
"We want to kick him in the balls for playing with our feelings" Mia snarled out. I lasted about two seconds before I burst into laughter. Crazy girl.
