5- Here we go again

Your life has been going pretty smoothly... Mostly because this is a fanfiction... But I've read enough of it to know something bad is gonna happen, have you read the title?

Anyway... Actually, let's just get on with the story...

Life's pretty normal, your casual 'fights' with Beetlejuice, watching movies, and scaring the shit out of people.

You've mostly put your feelings aside, he's dead your alive. So you've also been busy with your art now that school's out of the way. This is honestly the happiest you've been in a while, not to mention you were actually smiling. This was all thanks to a dead guy, wow.

"Say kid, do you normally just stare into the distance like that?" He asked waving his hand in front of my face.

"Oh, no, I just dazed off"

You went back to your picture, you were almost done. It wasn't one you were most proud of, but it's not bad. Just a few more strokes when your pencil broke. Of course you were to lazy to go sharpen it, so you just set your book aside.

"Y'know, there is one way to make me human" he paused "to answer your question from the other night"

You sat up as he broke the silence, since it was a weird topic go bring up.

"You have to marry me"

Your eyes lit up in shock at his words. You weren't ready to get married, and he doesn't know emotion so you couldn't date him.

"No, I'm not marrying you!"

"Did I say you have a choice?" He looked at you " kid listen, being human is all I ever wanted and your not getting in the way"

You again looked at him with a disgusted look as you got up.

"Sweetheart listen, it's just one wedding"

You tried to run but he grabbed you. You knew you couldn't outrun a demon. You heard Lydia talk about a situation like this that she went through, but you never thought it to be real. So you were gonna do what she did... Fake it, and kill him

"O-okay, fine"

You were soon walking down the isle in your f/c dress. You stood in front of Beetlejuice as he rushed for you two to be married. When it finally came to it, it was over. You and him were married and he was a human bursting with joy. You pulled a knife out your leggings and stabbed him in the chest m you watched as he went back to his ghost form.

"Well" he sighed "here we go again."

"Listen I'm sorry, but being human sucks"

"Being dead sucks" he yelled back.

"Plus, I don't wanna get married, I'm still young.

You stood in silence silence until you ran back down the isle. Beetlejuice cursed to himself before he ran after you.

"Listen, I was fine being your friend." You started up at him " but to be married?"

"You killed me."

"You were dead before, deal with it"

The moment seemed like it lasted forever, you just wanted to lunch him or something but it would do nothing.

"Listen, I'm going home, you can come if you want"

You stood up and stormed off. When you got home you changed in to something comfier, and laid in bed. You couldn't sleep, the thought of loosing one of your closet friends still lingered inside you. You were kinda lonely so you picked up your phone.

"Hey Lyd?"

"What'd you want" she answered.

"What did you do when that ghost tried to marry you?"

"Well I ended up killing him, and he's never bothered me since, why?"

"Oh, just wondering"

You hung up without a word, too sad to really think. What could you do. It's his fault, if he didn't just suggest this random ass idea and do it. Who knows what he woulda done as a human anyway. You were gonna miss the way he called you sweetheart, how it annoyed you. Your random conversations or when you kicked his ass at f/g. He didn't want to be your friend though, he only cared about being human.

Wow I had no idea where this was going.. gonna say, don't like how to turned out but... Eh, I'm a terrible writer...

I realized I'm mostly like the musical in this... I guess because like... Me honestly doesn't find the movie or the cartoon attractive... I'm talking to much.
