23-A Never ending story

Ha, Stranger Things... Ha, I love that show.

You and Candy went back and moved in. All of you were used to each other now so it was fine he hung around.

You have a few classes that you have to take, but other than that you're good. You have a lot of time for the extra classes now.

Beetlejuice nervously thought out his plan as he was back at the house. You were in school right now so it gave him time to think.

'is it too early... We've been together for about two years... Should I?' He thought all day.

You got off your last class at three today, so Beetlejuice asked you out. You convinced him to take you to mini golfing.

Your professor dismissed you as you went back to your dorm. You unlocked the door to Beetlejuice on your bed talking to Candy.

"Babe, you ready?" He said as he got up and smiled.

"Yup, lezgo'" you laughed "bye Candy."

You walked out into the hallway as he teleported you guys to mini golf course. You walked up and bought your passes an entered. Once you started playing was when realized you two were shit at golfing.

"My god, how many balls have you lost" you laughed "that's what she said.

"Damn, we've already beat all these suckers to the last whole" he said looking around.

"Baby, these are like five year olds." You said laughing.

"Oh... That reminds me..." He said hesitantly.

You laughed as you turned around to him on one knee. You looked down in shock not thinking this was about to happen.

"Y/n M/n L/n, I know we've had our fights and differences... I know sometimes you've hated me, but can we please get past that. You deserve a proper proposal, not forcing you to marry me... So would you do the honors of making me the happiest demon, human, or whatever you want me to be... Just god damnit will you marry me?!" He said as he put his head down.

You stood there tears filling your eyes as you smiled. You ran up to him saying yes over and over again as you took the ring.

"No wait, you actually said yes?!" He said as he hugging you back.

"Of course, Beetlejuice I love you so so much!"

"Baby, you'll never ever ever regret this"

You both stood up as he held you in an embrace as his lips pressed against yours.

He ended up bringing you back to your dorm room. Before you left you held on to him once more. Then you both said goodbye. You unlocked your door to see Candy was still awake.

"Woah, why are you so happy?"

"CANDY HE PROPOSED" you yelled out smiling.

"Aren't you like, young?" She said shocked.

"I don't care, it's my life... I'll live it how I want to." You smiled throwing yourself on your bed.

"Hey, I'm not judging" she laughed "but we should get to sleep?"

You nodded as you got into your hoodie.

'i just got engaged...' Beetlejuice thought as he laid in your guys bed.

He smiled as he realized he was going to be alive again. But not just that, getting to live with you. Grow just like a normal human being with you til you both die.

You had finally paid down to get some sleep knowing you have an early class tomorrow.

"Hey Candy, I'mma go to sleep."

"You better you have to get up at eight tomorrow" she laughed.

You woke up rather early today honestly, it was only 6:37. You had time to get up and ready and maybe stop for breakfast.

Once you were dressed and ready you stopped by the cafe on campus to get a coffee and something to eat. Once you finished you walked back to class.

"Okay so assignments due the 24th, and remember I'm retiring so you'll have a new professor."

You ignored him and walked back to your room. Candy wasn't back yet. You didn't think about it though, you just sat your stuff down and plopped down on the bed.

You realized Candy didn't have a class at this time today. You panicked as you saw her stuff next to her desk. You got your phone out and clicked on her name.

No reply

You tried again...

No reply

'No this can't happen' you thought as you clicked Beetlejuice's contact.

No reply

"No, come on, they have to answer" you quickly panicked.

You called again.

"Hey babe, everything okay?"

"Jesus, why didn't you answer the first time!" You yelled.

"Hey, I didn't see you called... What's the matter?"

"Candy won't pick up, her stuff is all here, and she never came back and she didn't have class today... Beej, I'm worried." You said in a scared tone.

"Woah you're worried, did you just learn that word?" He chuckled.

"Fine, you're so much help"

"Wait, ho-" he tried to say before you hung up.

"Hey, I'm back!" Candy said as she shut the door and walked to her bed.

"Why didn't you answer your phone... I was worried.

"No don't be, I was just uh." She tried to say before stopping herself "it died."

"Candy, I know when you lie..." You said more serious.

"Alright... Ok, this dude came up to me and asked if I knew you so I didn't lie... well he said to report back to him or I-I'll die" Candy cried

You looked at her in shock...
