29- A day of changes

Sometimes I'll start a sentence and I don't even know where it's going. I just hope I can find it along the way.

You never took time to noticed what changed about Beetlejuice. He was a pale white anymore nor was his hair green, instead it was all brown. He seemed more human too now that you noticed. He never took your emotions seriously until now. If you're sad he feels sympathy. If you're man, he's learned to take time with you and understood you don't wanna be messed with. He ignored your feelings a lot without intention. These are all things that have changed for the better honestly.

Along with the other changes you landed a job writing, a hobby you've never took interest in until now. You took your time and write some novels that you can post and get paid for. On the days you aren't writing you work at a local cafe you and Candy used to love.

"Hey babe!" Beetlejuice said in excitement startling you.

You took a sip of your coffee waiting for him to continue.

"xLet's have kids!"

You spit your coffee out in shock, then looking up at him with a serious of confused looks.

"I'm serious, I wanna start a family!" He said growing happier with each word.

"Slow down a bit, we just got married." You laughed wiping somebody the coffee off your screen. "Besides, we have all the time in the world."

"Well truth be told, we didn't use protection last night... You could be pregnant already." He said crossing his arms.

"Shit-" you whispered looking up at him "Why didn't you say anything!"

"I don't know, I was too into the moment." He said in a saddened voice.

"Listen I understand, I'm just not ready to be a mother... Hell I'm only 24." You said in a shaky voice.

He walked over to you and held you in an embrace. You never noticed how cold he was before til now. The warmth of the embrace made one thing, but the fact that he's the one hugging you made it 50x better.

"Do you wanna get it tested or do you wanna wait?" He said in a loving voice. You looked into his caring eyes as you held on to him tighter.

At the moment you both left the house to find a local pharmacy and try to some pregnancy test. Beetlejuice stood there awkwardly beside you as you looked in the feminine products. You finally found a box that seemed legit and bought it as long as some condoms just in case.

You two both got home without saying a word to each other. You quickly made you way upstairs completely ignoring Candy and Lydia.

"What's up with her?" Candy curiously asked looking twords Beetlejuice.

"Uh, she just had to use the bathroom..." He lied

"Wow, you're not a good liar anymore y'know." Lydia laughed looking down at the dem- human ._.

You waited the certain amount of time before you looked down at the stick.

Negative.

You sighed in relief throwing it away and walking out of the bathroom. You came back to a nervous looking Beetlejuice, you looked at him and gave him a side smile.

"S-so?" He studdered out.

"Why are you so nervous, babe I wouldn't be mad if I was pregnant" you said laughing sitting next to him "it's negative anyway, we don't have to worry about it."

"I guess you're right." He chuckled a bit looking down.

"About what?"

"We shouldn't rush, we have our whole lives." He said with tears pricking his eyes.

You moved over and got on his lap. He put his arms around your waist as you pulled him into a kiss, holding on to him like they'll be no tomorrow.

"I love you" you whispered in his ear smiling.

"Let's go out and do human stuff!" He said in a more cheerful voice.

"Like what?" You laughed as you got up.

"I was kinda hoping you'd help me out with that part-" he said giving you a small smirk.

"Uh well... We could go to a movie or like go get food... I dunno, it's 2019." You shrugged.

"I mean, I guess we could go to the mall or something... It's the closest anyway."

"We should really get a car, the author hasn't given me one and I'm already out of college... Jeez what an author you are" you sarcastically say.

"Shut the fuck up, I just never thought of it" Carley says appearing out of no where.

"You two come on, the readers can handle all the fourth wall breaks" Beetlejuice says in an agitated voice.

You shrug off the current events and grab your shoes ready to leave.

"Not even gonna say hi to us?" Candy laughs as she walks down with Lydia.

"Oh yeah, hi... Bye" you say quickly looking at them.

"Whatever-" Candy says rolling her eyes as she made her way to the kitchen.

You grab your wallet before closing the door and leaving. It kinda sucked you couldn't just be teleported everywhere or having his powers, but it was kinda nice to say you were married to a real human instead of a demon.

Once you arrived at the mall you smiled and you both walked inside.

Short chapter lol... I need ideas again XDXD I mean I have some in mine, but I'm saving those for later ;)

Idk what I was doing in this chapter but like I'll act like I know... That's me in school, lol.
