17- Cheat

School was almost over, you were surprised. It was like you just started yesterday. Being with Candy for the whole year made it so much better, she was so easy to talk to.

You and Beetlejuice haven't been doing the greatest though. You miss him but he's usually busy doing what ever the hell a demon does, but you understood.

You unlocked your dorm threw your bag down, once you took your shoes off you hopped on your bed and grabbed your Mac book out so you could begin your essay.

'hmm, y'know who could help... Beetlejuice' you thought to yourself before you smiled and grabbed your phone. You clicked his contact as you put the phone up to your ear.

"Hello?" A woman's voice rang.

"Uh hi, who's this?" You curiously asked since that wasn't Beetlejuice's voice.

"Uh, this is Carley... Who might you be?"

"Okay Carley can I speak to Beetlejuice"

"He's at it again with Camilla, I'll tell him you called."

"What do you mean he's at it again?" You said as you clinched your fists.

"Jeez, y'know, they're fucking I can't just come in and say some bitch is calling."

"Bruh, I'm not just some bitch." You said way more angrily

You hung up as you set your phone down. Then Candy cane in.

"Yeet, I'm back, did I miss anything" she smiled brightly.

"I've been cheated on..." You said blankly, wanting to cry but wanting to show no emotion.

"Oh Y/n, by that demon dude?" She set her bag down and went over and sat on the edge of your bed.

"A random woman picks up the phone and says he's screwing someone..." Tears started to run down your face. "How do you deal with guys?"

"See, I don't"

"So you're asexual?"

"Lesbian" she smiled softly looking up at you

"I thought you were American...." You laughed.

"Come on, let's go get ice cream, stay and our pajamas, and binge watched Netflix." Candy smiled as she sat up.

You wiped your face and nodded. Luckily their was a Walgreens so you could get some I've cream. You went back and watched horror movies all night and both fell asleep on the ground. You woke up the next morning with about 20 missed calls or 32 messages. You rolled your eyes and tried to wake Candy up.

"Pssst, Candy..." You whispered while gently tapping her.

"Huh, what is it?" She tiredly said as she sat up.

"Do I tell Beetlejuice off or ignore it?"

"Get him over here, I'll deal with him" she smiled a more demonic smiled than her sweet one.

That's when it hit you. The last time you guys texted he said to give him a minute and you said what could you possibly be doing. You frowned at the thought, sadly he could've been cheating for a while. Hell I'm probably not the first, it's probably all been some sick act to get me to sleep with him.

"God why did I sleep with him" you whispered under your breath.

"yOU SLePT WITH HIM?" She practically inhaled her water.

"Yeah yeah, the whole dorm doesn't need to know."

Soon your demon "boyfriend" showed up with a smile.

"Hey babygirl, missed you" he smiled.

'sure, missed you too'

"Bitch the fuck you do, what the hell you doin' cheating on Y/n, fucking some random ass hoes." Candy spat out obviously not afraid "see just because you're some big, glorious, dominant demon doesn't give you the right to cheat in this amazing girl. Now I've only know her for a few months now, but for the time I have know Y/n she's the best roommate I coulda asked for and-"

"Candy, I think that's enough." You stood up to his with a blank face.

"Baby please, let me explain."

"Explain what, and don't tell me you didn't want to"

"No no, it's not any of that it's just-" he stopped for a minute "you never what to, y'know, so I go to someone else."

"I'm a seventeen year old girl, I don't have sex my mind like some needy pervert" you spoke in disgust "You're lucky to have gotten to sleep with me, I had trust in you. I wanted to be with you thought you were actually different, then I realize you're dead with no common sense or emotion."

You sighed and sat on you're bed.

"But Y/n you don't understand, I want to be with you"

"Aheememem, so you sleep with other woman...?" Candy chimed in.

"You could've at least respected my wishes, Beetlejuice for God's sake I loved you." Tears pricked your eyes as you tried to stay emotionless.

"Babygirl please, can we talk about this." His expression changed to a way more heart broken one "I only did it cause I missed you, baby please i-"

"And what the hell is with you and not saying I'm sorry, would it kil- nevermind you're already dead." You huffed.

"Uh, here I'll leave and let you two deal with this" Candy excused herself.

You sat there, the tension unbelievably awkward.

"Y/n, let me prove it to you please."

"You don't just sleep around while your girlfriend's in college"

"Y/n, don't forget you cheated t-"

"Don't you dare fucking finish that sentence, I was a drunk college student. And at least I didn't fuck him!" You yelled.

"Can we just put all this behind us baby please, I love you"

You turned away not wanting to look him in the eyes. That's when you honestly started to miss him and you probably knew he was just sexually frustrated. You hated to admit it but you wanted to forgive him.

"Cheat on me again, I dump your ass" y'all get me right ;)

He smiled and you stood up and hugged him. You stayed there for a while holding each other.

"Looks like my work here is done" Candy smiled as she walked back in "awe, look a rare sighting of a happy demon"

"I like her, and we're keeping her" you smiled.
