The plan?

There currently was no plan, exactly.

Amelie was sitting cross-legged on the floor, fiddling with the bandages on her newly patched up arm as she watched the Avengers bicker like competitive eight year olds playing baseball.

Ultron had destroyed JARVIS's entire AI system, and then when Thor destroyed the killer robot's body, escaped through the internet. He knew everything about everything and everyone- including themselves.

The fourteen year old didn't want to listen to the arguing- it was plain stupid. Tony had good intentions with creating the Iron Legion and Ultron. However, it was wrong to use the scepter as he did. Amelie could feel the scepter's power, it had been coursing inside of her for a whole year. It was similar to the Tesseract's, the way it pulled in the back of her mind, but in a way that made her fingers tingle with alarm.

As much as she wanted to leave, she didn't want to get up in the middle of the argument and interrupt them. That could either rain some fire down on her, or make things a lot worse than they should be.

So Amelie just sat there patiently, watching them bicker about what to do next.

Then, something flashed on the computer that made her jump.

"He killed Dr. Strucker." She blurted out, getting to her feet to get a closer look at the article.

The room went silent.

"What?" Sam quirked a brow, "Strucker's in custody at NATO. No one can touch him."

"Look." Amelie tapped on the article, zooming in on the headline and picture. Dr. Strucker was dead on the floor of his cell, bullets in his head and chest. Written on the wall in his blood was world peace.

"That has to be Ultron. Who else could get into that cell? He has access to everything in the internet, including the location of classified prisoners." Amelie explained.

"What he's doing next could be related to Strucker." Steve agreed, "Ultron could be using Hydra's outlets to get what he wants."

"Too bad we can't have JARVIS do a filtered search." Tony ran a hand down his face, "We have no Hydra experts here who can help us."

"Actually." Amelie shared a look with Bucky, "We can help."

"You said you couldn't track Strucker." Clint stared to Amelie, "Or anything around him."

"She wouldn't be tracking Strucker, he's dead." Natasha started to head out of the room, "We have tons of old files on Hydra brought over from SHIELD. If we can find a connection between what Ultron wants, and what Strucker had-"

"I can find it." Amie nodded, "I can find Ultron."

"No." Steve shook his head, "Ultron isn't a person. He's a robot with some extremely high-tech power running through his system taken from the scepter. Tracking him won't be the same. We don't know how it'll affect you."

Amelie sighed, running a hand through her hair, "I will be fine. I know my limits."

"I don't want you putting yourself in danger doing this. Once you do this, you're involved. There's no getting out of it." Steve warned, "Amie, you're just a kid still. I don't want you to get hurt."

Amie bit her lip, shaking her head with her eyes downcast, "If I was a 'just a kid' I wouldn't be like this."

"I don't want to barge in on this pleasant family conversation, but Ultron is planning on not only destroying us... but who knows what else. The whole world can be in danger. I'm not her parent, but if Amelie is capable of finding Ultron so we can stop him, then why not let her? We have all the resources here to keep her safe." Tony interjected.
