Maggie turned onto the highway relieved to finally be out of the hospital. She glanced over at Luis as he rested beside her.
"I'm glad you're feeling better. Cristal kept me up on your records. You came in, in a rough condition, she was really worried about you."
His eyes were closed with him leaning back in the seat. The corners of his mouth rose. "I'm glad we made it out." His eyes opened as he turned to Maggie. "I could have killed that guy when he had that knife to your neck."
Anger twists Luis's expression and Maggie blushs at his concern. He hasn't known her long, but he's already treating her like family. "Well, I'm fine now. And all we have to worry about is leaving this behind us."
His expression softens. "Well, it's not over just yet." Luis stated.
His tone sent a chill down Maggie's spine. She kept her eyes on the road as she spoke. "What do you mean?"
"You know, the other man that got away. He's still out there somewhere."
Relief flooded her as his tone returned to normal, why is she so jumpy? "Well, I say good riddance with him."
Her comment seemed to agitate Luis, but she couldn't tell what he was thinking since his face was turned toward the window. He watched the passing trees go by as Maggie reached over to flip the radio on.
Soon Luis's hand flew up to his stomach where his wound was and he leaned forward. "Pull over. I think I'm gonna be sick."
"Crap." Maggie jerked the car onto the side of the highway. Cars rushed by her as she jumpsd out to help Luis.
But when she came around to his side, she found herself staring into the barrel of a gun. A gun that is hidden from traffic by the car. A gun that is in the hands of whom she thought to be her friend. Maggie froze.
"What are you doing?" Her voice shook.
He smiled standing easily to his feet. "Give me your phone Maggie."
Carefully, she pulled it out and he snacked it from her. Just as he grabbed it, the screen flashed and showed that Cristal was calling. Luis chuckled before slamming her phone to the ground. It shattered as he stomped on it.
"We have a little change of plans." The tone he was using took her back inside the warehouse. That had been his voice. Luis is Psycho. Suddenly everything made sense. The cameras, the familiar voice, the man sneeking into the house undetected, and Rosie never barking when he showed. Luis is behind it all, and he's now holding her life in his hands.
"What are you going to do?" Fear washed over her as amusement flashed across his face. She had once thought him to be handsome, but the evil in his eyes now maked the sight of him twist her stomach.
"I'll tell you about it during the ride. Now get back in."
She slipped into the passenger seat as he hid the gun and rushed around to the driver's side. With one hand he held the wheel, and with the other he kept the gun aimed on her. A low enough aim so that no one could see the trouble, but high enough to kill.

He hated to be so aggressive with her, but it came down to it being a must. Everything would work out in the end because she would remember him soon. He just needed to get her away from Jae and the others so she could focus on him.
Hours passed before they reached the cabin he owned in the mountians. The sun was beginning to set as he jerked her out of the car and into the house. She was crying now and this bothered him. She's scared, but soon she would realize that there's no need to be afraid of him. He loves her and she would remember soon just how much she loves him.
