You hate me, I hate myself too so the feeling is mutual but this chapter wasn't happening.

For now, imagine Sithara dancing like that and Arsalan watching ughh too much💔💔💔😭😭😭

24| Need You Nomore.

"Mumma??" I couldn't help but burst out in a sarcastic laugh. "Is she even serious?" I stared at Kabir shocked, not even bothered to glance at Ma.

"Sithara. You can." She didn't stop kidding me. "Just a bit."

"Mumma." I heaved calming myself down. Kabir was certainly enjoying himself. "I do not even know these people and you want me to dance in their engagement?" I shook my head in disbelief. She really thought I would do a solo here, at her request.

"You know them." She replied and I rolled my eyes. "Mrs. Malhotra saw you dance at Advait's sangeet."

"Kabir remind her Advait is my cousin." I was more than serious now. I could not just dance at anybody's wedding. "I am not doing it."

"Sithara." I did not know why she was being so persistent. She had been acting strange for a while. She wanted me to get married too.

"Come on." Kabir deliberated.

I opened my mouth with a bitter reply on my tongue to shut off their demand but before I could speak a word, I heard the music in the background, the same song I danced on. The crowd actually gawked at me, making me all the way more nervous.

I speechlessly watched my mother shrug her shoulders. This was the reason why I didn't want to come. I was expecting her to pull up a stunt. I cursed, shaking my head mentally.

"It's okay. Just a dance." Kabir chuckled.

"Hain??" I grimaced. "Toh tum karlo nah phir." I thumped my heels on his foot, smiling at every body else as I walked to the dance floor.

"You were superb!" I halted in my way, smiling at the girl who complimented me.

"Yeah, really?" I replied, wondering if it was that fabulous because for sure I knew I could have done better had Arsalan's eyes not met with mine so often.

I gulped at the thought of it, my heart beating faster again. My world still changed everytime my eyes met his, despite knowing how empty his heart was, how empty everything was.
