The Doctor, Leela and K-9 return to the TARDIS.

Doctor:

Right. Little old piece of home. Now, anywhere and everywhere.

Shutting the doors, the Doctor activates the switch to dematerialize the TARDIS as her sounds pierce through the time vortex with the centre column beginning to rise and fall again.

Leela:

We still need to set the planet back to where it needs to be.

Doctor:

No! Let them keep it. They earnt it. The human race can now spread the best they can. Just this once. Just once.

Leela:

And they are still out there, the Daleks?

Doctor:

Hmmm? Oh yes. In the war with the Movellans. That was one of the last of the Daleks. They're still out there.

Leela:

Do you think we will see them again?

Doctor:

Oh yes! K-9?

K-9:

Chances – certain, Master.

Doctor:

You see. We'll see them again. One day.

Leela:

We can easily stop these Daleks, Doctor. You have nothing to fear. You and your planet are safe.

Doctor:

My planet?

Leela:

Gallifrey! You were worrying about it.

Doctor:

Ah! Gallifrey! It was just a feeling that's all. But Leela, I never like to make predictions. I suppose I will let time tell me that one.

For now, at least, the TARDIS drifts off elsewhere in the universe for more adventures...

End.
