A Narrow Escape to Life

Nature itself is a huge mystery! Nobody has an idea of how less they know and how more there are outside the realm of this 'so-called' knowledge humanity posses with! Each of these unknown worlds can easily baffle someone and make one go mute for life! Limited knowledge and enclosed ambience confined humans within a narrow boundary they could hardly presume. Once, and once only men defy to stay on the other side of fences and start walking the path of enlightenment, that will be the path to their true freedom. Imperialism will kneel then in front of sovereignty, War will run away in front of integrity, diplomacy will lose its acceptance and it will raise unity. Will human ever ascend the way of transcendence?

This is what Ashtabasu was thinking, sitting by the window of the room allotted for him. Currently, they are located at the biggest asteroid situated in between the planets- Mars and Jupiter. Name of this Asteroid is weird – 'Somras'! It is uncertain to all of them why the name of this Asteroid is given after liquor; anyhow they could guess but nobody is sure about that. Dark, pitch black Asteroid and its atmosphere here is another wonder! The environment is weird; the sky is pitch-black all time with the stars shining in it every moment. There's no daylight here; this made the greens absent on its soil. As no greens, thus no wildlife or aviators; rivers-tributaries-oceans-seas – nothing! The Titans residing on this Asteroids (They had a conversation with them after they landed on 'Somras'; they are very friendly type; the only problem is their long stature! Subhamangal caught up with neck pain in an attempt to talk to them!) and their creatures – these are the only inmates of this place. And all the life, in any of its form is restricted within a glass enclosure; it is strictly forbidden to stray away out of this glass enclosure. If something goes out, it will be resulting in an instantaneous death due to cold and the absence of air to breathe in. 'Somras' never sustained life!!

Since their first meeting with Maharshi Markendeya to their arrival at this planet – every instance in between that they had to confront with has baffled Ashatabasu's mind. But, there is a certain limit to keep the eyes popping out and the jaw to hang down; so, all of them now accustomed themselves with the word 'Astonishment'.

Like, the place where their spaceship landed. From there, they were carried up to their residence in a chariot; this chariot itself is bizarre, it can move forward self-sufficiently, no need of an ox, cow, or horses to draw it forward!

And, the light! They noticed the light from the very beginning when they entered into the 'Vimana'; it is another part of the puzzle. Light, illumination, but no fire! And the light generated from this unknown source is far intensified than that emitted from the fire. A conclusion could be drawn in about these lights after having a view of the city the Gods are living in – These lights are present everywhere to eradicate every inch of darkness all around, but there's no warmth of them! What kind of 'Magic-Lights' are these?

The journey up to this far is another wonder. They had a view through the window of 'Vimana' time to time; Markendeya guided their quest many times, he introduced them with new wonders those are unlocked to them; in the very beginning, they had to be tied up for some added moments. Maharshi informed them they may actually have to 'float' in the air as gravitation has no effect in this part of space [Gravitation is a force that holds everything in Earth as he defined. Another wonder, isn't it?]. Some later time when they were passing by a Red planet he told them that this is Mars; it was blessed with Life once. Now hold this, if there was life on Mars then where it is now? Being asked he replied that now the life from it is wiped out; no life is existing there anymore! Each and every soul are gone – and then he turned himself mute. But who wiped out lives on Mars? Which titanic force or forces caused this total annihilation? What happened to them then? He kept himself silent.

Now this is undeniable the more Ashtabasu is getting familiar with the new world, the more his knowledge is gaining in a proportionate way. For instance, through the North-facing window in the room where he has been allocated, if someone keeps an eye in the sky, the first thing one will notice there is a solid, huge and luminous sphere. According to Maharshi Markendeya, it is the Jupiter, the biggest planet in this solar system. On the other hand, the sky through the South-window will reveal a small, reddish sphere; it is Mars that they are familiar with, but beyond that, if someone keeps staring in the sky for some more moments, finally one will be able to detect a tiny, bluish point in the horizon. That one is Earth, their own World, from where they came to visit this pace. It is almost faded, invisible in the pitch-black sky among the other stars out there; one can barely discover it without staring for some moments for it. When their Spaceship entered the cosmos leaving the Earth behind, Ashtabasu looked back for a moment and immediately he was enchanted at the alluring beauty of their Home Planet! He never had the slightest idea about the place they are residing in; how bewitching blue their planet is! Maharshi Markendeya also informed them that the Earth has one-third land mass of it and the rest of the part is water; This huge water in the planet reflects the color of the blue sky above, and this is the cause of its blue color. What a mystery Mother Nature is!

According to distance, planet Earth is the third planet from the all-father Sun, then comes the planet Mars in the fourth position. Jupiter now comes next to planet Mars for now, but a long time ago since their timeline, there used to be another Planet known as 'Alka' between the Mars and Jupiter –the remnants of which is now 'Somras', a part of the many asteroids they are going to visit.
