Suddenly both the old sages have their ears on a chuckling sound from outside. Maharshi Valmiki came out of his room in a hurry to look into the matter. A group of kids was hanging around as if they were waiting for him. Among these kids, the senior most stepped forward, holding a tiny chick in his tiny hands – the kid seemed to be merely within seven to ten years of age, and he tries to be very serious at the moment.

-"What happened, Balbhadra?" – Maharshi Valmiki asked the kid now.

-"Err... Gurudev! I... no, we had our grips on this hen-"

-"It's not a hen...it's a chick" – rest of the kids shouted melodiously from behind. It seems as if a flock of birds starts twitting over all around the place.

-"Okay, whatever it is, I mean... it is for Maharshi Markendeya." – says the embarrassed kid Balbhadra now.

-"What is he supposed to do with it?"

-"It is... err... for his meal..."

Maharshi Markendeya came outside following Maharshi Valmiki previously; now he had a chuckle at this funny event of kids and said-

-"I bless you all for your concern regarding my comfort and appetite; but besides, have you considered how tiny and little this chick actually is? Its mother must be worried by now, as she can't see her little baby right by her side. This little baby is also suffering from anxiety as it can't see its mother. What say to you?"

All the kids there started looking at each other.

-"You are Balbhadra, right? Now I am assigning you with a task, carry this chick to its mother and put it there. Go with the utmost care, perhaps its mother now might be very angry as well! Another thing, never isolate any mother from her baby or any baby from her mother. Okay? Now off you go!"

The kids now turned back with the chick and marched past together. It is obvious that they were on a mood to play and fooling around; this was supposed to be a game to them, passing on some leisure moments. Both the old sages kept staring at this retreating team now for some moments.

-"Infancy itself is a wonder. No need for a cause to laugh at; a heart-full of profound astonishment for the surroundings. These moments never come back in a life cycle of a human. " – said by Maharshi Markendeya at last.

Maharshi Valmiki nodded in response. True, this is the moment, which stays vivid in every human mind. This liveliness, this greenness fades away; disbelief, hatred, selfishness and false ego – these sorts of better qualities remain on top of everything. This should not be prioritised at any cost, but this is the undeniable destiny that a man must meet on his way.

Kids are God's own pearls; childhood is the real and honest half in somebody's life.

-"Let's get back to have some rest, Maharshi. Tomorrow at dawn, gather the rest of your assistants because I will start narrating the prologue of the Gods, the Titans. A very amazing tale that will be! This is the introductory part that I am going to talk about; the introduction to the tale of two brothers will be following its tail. Gather your strength tonight, because tomorrow we have a lot of things to do!" Maharshi Markendeya speaks now.

-"That wasn't an illusion, isn't it Maharshi Markendeya?" – Maharshi Valmiki asked.

-"I read your concern about the giants inside the vessel when you were staring at that Giant's preserved body, Maharshi! But, this is not the exact moment to divert off the route we are about to set in. You have the whole tale and then you decide yourselves, okay? Let's pass on the question for the moment."

-"One last question, where should we assemble together?"

-"Your room is wide enough and moreover, it is secluded from the others. Exactly the same spot that I prefer. From tomorrow, you will be off from teaching for some days, remember?"

-"Everything is arranged accordingly, Maharshi Markendeya."

This is the end of another normal, average day in the 'Manivati' Hermitage of Maharshi Valmiki. The only event that worth mentioning is that, at night, when he was about to sleep, he discovered the favorite, small, and deadly weapon belonging to Maharshi Markendeya is kept armed carefully near his head, on the same bed where Maharshi Markendeya was asleep! Maharshi Valmiki did not call him out of his sleep; he sipped some water, and then fell asleep instead, after putting out the light.
