[...Thedaylight is dying out, Maharshi, should we stop to take a rest tonight now?]

Daylight is almost drying out. The attendant to Maharshi Valmiki's hut lit some lamps and candles in the room. The disciples left the place one by one for the night; they will join tomorrow again. Both the sages had their evening rituals done; now they are sitting inside the room face to face. Maharshi Valmiki seems to be a little bit of... concerned and thoughtful now. Maharshi Markendeya just observing him quietly and calmly.

-"What are you thinking, Maharshi?" Maharshi Markendeya finally asked Maharshi Valmiki.

-"Everything!" Maharshi Valmiki replied with a shorter, abbreviated answer.

-"In your own narration, you had mentioned that the mere mortal feelings, like anger, pain, loneliness, aggression, jealousy, depression – all these emotions are reflected in the Gods, right? These feelings work almost the same in them, as they work on us, isn't it? And they are merely mortal like us, just with a larger life-span, true?"

-"True. But what is the catch, Maharshi Valmiki?"

-"Unbelievable!!"

Uttering this final word, Maharshi Valmiki goes silent for a while. They had their shadows cast on the opposite wall of the room; he stared at them for some moments. The flame of the lamp was shivering, so as their shadows on the wall; but it seemed that Maharshi Valmiki had no heed to this 'shadow dancing'at all, actually he is thinking something deep inside his mind. After some moments, he seemed to be back into the real world and then he started talking-....
