-"Forgive me, I couldn't read this part. Anyways, the Gods settled in that unknown planet; then?"
Maharshi Markendeya started his narration again: -"The Gods then landed into the planet to stay; the first thing they took care of – decoration to their new home. Many Suns cross by in an effort to this quest, but the result did not appease them at all. The major cause of it – limitation of resources. A larger platform is required for rapid and vast research; evolution and other bio-modulation require larger space and endless resources of every kind. This planet might serve as a temporary basement for some imminent causes, but building up a castle requires a larger space. Where is the scope, in this planet? They had to set in for another expedition again for a new solar planetary system. This time it looks like the luck smiled and sent its regards to them. The suitable planet they were looking for was found near. The third, fourth and fifth planet of a little star, known as the Sun! They were excited when they met with this newly discovered constellation. It seems to them as if they are 'home' they left behind far away; deep into the cosmos! It seems to be as if the altered image of 'Tripura' territory, a primitive version of it! The exact same platform they are looking for the creation and nurturing of lives! The overwhelmed and overjoyed Gods descended down on Earth. They named these three planets as 'Prithvi (The Earth)', 'Mangal (The Mars) and 'Alka'. Planet 'Alka' was situated between the Mars and the King of the planets in this solar system, the Jupiter.
This planet, the Earth, back then was filled with primitive forests and whimsical, grotesque animals. The majority of these animals were giant lizards or reptiles. After thorough research, they came to know that the Earth was covered with large oceans when it was created in the first place. Incessant rainfall was a daily routine; high average temperature then was the primary reason for this uninterrupted rainfall. The first life therefore in this planet was aquatic, marine. Later, when the land was formed (It is an entirely natural phenomenon, Gods had nothing to do with it), some of these marine lives, those we better call as 'Fish' as they stay underwater, stepped on this newly formed land. They selected this vacant, dry zone for reproduction and security purpose to their offspring. Later, they form into amphibians, a brand new species that can roam in both land and water. Some of these amphibians were later evolved into Inland animals, the primitive version of each animal dwelling on the land. Evolution of man is a later event. They were guided Maharshi, manufactured!
When the Gods stepped on this planet, as I told, the giant reptiles inhabited this land. They were reptiles, an animal with cold blood. The strength of these animals was massive, but they had a little grey matter. If an elephant has the grey matter of a squirrel, the same proportion will be the best fit to describe the presence of grey matter inside these giant's thick skull. The Gods made best of their efforts to help these reptiles to move forward in the way of evolution, but they failed. Evolution – it is a rapid, endless process descending down to an offspring from their parents. It is an exchange of information from the parents to the offspring generation-wise; and it never completes in one single life-cycle, Maharshi! A tiny thread of information descends down to an offspring; it spreads in a small, modified version to the next generation. At last, the tiny thread turns into a gigantic pile of information that assembles into a body within same species; which evolves some newer feature to that species with a new set of information. The offspring is now modified; evolution finds a new way to proceed further.
The evolution is a slow process Maharshi, it takes time to complete itself. But it is seen, the process of evolution is very slow, almost negligible for these giant reptiles. The Gods held a conference held regarding this factor. They collected samples from different species of these giant reptiles – carnivorous and herbivorous, both. When they are done, they unleashed hell on Earth! The objective of this devastating destruction was simple – Mass destruction of these giant reptiles!
In the first place, the Titans used weapons in this mercy killing. But they switched on the mode into a different tactic when they observed a delay in the expected outcome. As I told you previously, they were a masterpiece in the field of Mathematics and calculations; moreover, technological knowledge added salt to the spice! With the power of both, they were able to turn around the direction of passing meteorites towards Earth, and then BAM! It wasn't a killing, Maharshi, it was total extinction! Rain of fire, volcanic eruption, tsunami, Earthquake and the hardest impact over everything – smokes of dust particles that shade Sun-rays for months! This sole incidence killed most of the greens around the globe; without food, the herbivores lost their lives that took the carnivores with them. The food chain was shattered that killed these giant reptiles. No giants survived to roam on the Earth again!
Wait a moment, everybody dead? No. In that era, the Gods had collected the samples of every creature walking on the Earth before the apocalypse. The same goes for the plants. They had gathered around a huge collection of cells and genes as per their needs. Moreover, the Earth was not entirely out of lives, yet. Some rodents and some primitive species of plants remained on the Earth. They adapted with the changing environment and thus, they survived. There were some handful of giant lizards too those survived and adapted with the changing environment. They were tiny in number, the majority of these surviving animals were herbivorous at large; along with them, some of the ape species survived too who used to live on the trees. Our first ancestor was selected from these apes – the Prime father and the Prime Mother. We are the last of their legacy in our times- the humans.
The Gods put all the collected body samples, below their microscope in an effort to establish a link between lives. They were looking for the answers to create a new breed of advanced species. A wide range of grotesque species came out of their labs indeed; but where is the advanced, intelligent species those they were looking for? Nowhere! All these experiments were carried through in their new location, new home. Remember, where is it? I told you Maharshi! The exact, same, unknown planet where the Gods put their feet for the first time after a long, boring, endless journey out in the cosmos. It has almost an Earth-like atmosphere; that is why it helped in sustaining those lives the Gods created. But all these lives, they were never an advanced species after all! The failure in reaching the desired goal was tearing apart their confidence level gradually with each passing moments.
