After some moments, he seemed to be back into the real world and then he started talking-
-"it is a normal instinct of human to look for something supernatural in his darkest hours. Somebody, or something who will keep humanity safe from trouble. A superhuman with inhumane strength who will eventually become their savior, a superhero to the people. Existence of the Gods was never an unknown entity to anybody. It is true that the majority of the populace never saw an actual 'God' in reality, ever. But they heard that the Gods roam the Earth across the sky, under shades of lightning bolts; their chariots roar like thunders, so loud that it could be heard from miles away. They descend down on Earth with huge smoke, which is dense enough to cover the horizon. They do not need to step on the mud of this world when they walk on our lands. They never swelter under scorching Sun, and they definitely are not a mere mortal like other dwellers on Earth. But your statement is a complete phase-out to the notion those others bear up with! A high contrasting controversy it is! Do you have any idea what I see now if people know the truth? I see civil chaos. I see anarchy and renegades taking over the system! No people will ever be inspired to stay within law and order – this involves civil war, crime, and everything that will drag humanity at the brink of extinction. The irony is, I will be the one and only architect of the exact same destruction that I was supposed to prevent!! "
This is the part of the entire conversation that puts Maharshi Markendeya speechless. It perplexed him for long moments! Now he clearly understands everything. The decision was perfect then! This is why Bhagban Vishnudev had chosen Maharshi Valmiki such eagerly himself! For this deep insight of Maharshi Valmiki, that he demonstrated right now! Maharshi Markendeya was astonished that night; he found an extraordinary talent sitting right in front of him in the light of a tiny lamp in a small room. This man just foresighted an alternative future that they had to sort out with the aid of sophisticated equipment! How could he do that? He kept looking at Maharshi Valmiki, astonishingly.
But the great sage overlooked his gesture and kept on his speeches-
-"..You grasped the proper part at its very early phase. Maharshi Markendeya. Gods can never be placed in the first rank; at least not as a 'human'. They will stay in the backdrop. They will not stay with their bones, blood, and flesh, but as light, shade, infinite energy and as an illusion. They will roam in my tale as a superhuman. But in such a way, that they will never stand in the way of a man's spiritual development. They will stay closer to us, but as a tale to the fantasy itself! Men will create their own destiny."
In response, Maharshi Markendeya nodded slowly, and then he asked- "But how?" In response to this question, Maharshi Valmiki replied-
-"The Gods will have to stay as if they are straight out of fantasy land. They can do anything at will, but they keep faith in our decision. That is why we have been authorized to take final decisions. We will be solely responsible for it. The Gods will show the path. The part that you narrated so far is highly induced with Science; Some of them I understood, some of them not. I will be explaining them with the power of imagination, symbolism, and imagination. Gods will be held aloft, but men will create their own destiny."
-"And definitely make sure that they are not hewn into 'Religion', Maharshi Valmiki. It will create nuisance then!"
-"Yes! I will keep an eye to that. But the point is, whether it will be turning into a religion or not, the responsibility will entirely rest on the shoulders of the future generation. The night is deeper now, there it is! Our supper is on the way. Let's grab on it, Maharshi Markendeya...
" Another day in 'ManiVaati' Ashram is thus ended....
