Chapter One – Prophecy

Temple of the Gods - Athens
1st June 1996
The low hum of the priestesses filled the temple as morning worship continued, suddenly a white glow started from the statue of Leto in the centre of the room, all eyes turned and watched as Leto's priestess Leisel moved forward to kneel in front of the statue.
The white reached out to touch the Leisel who bowed back on her heels as Leto spoke through her

"The choice of the seven will guide our future
By the choice of the seven we will rise or fall
The seven in twenty one will meet
In twenty one the seven will choose
By that choice we will rise or fall
None shall hinder the seven
Fates will not be swayed
Marked and bound the seven
In twenty one will rise"

The glow faded as Leisel slumped at the feet of the statue repeating the words again and again, no-one touched her but gathered round to write down the words.
It had been nearly 100 years since the temple last saw a prophecy revealed and there was no record of Leto previously sending a prophecy through her priestess.
The scribe finished writing and rushed to her office to copy and send the prophecy to the other temples and scholars to let them know and to start working out what the prophecy meant.

The healers solarium was busy with six goddesses about to give birth, a sense of expectation was in the air, never had so many goddesses presented for birth at the same time.
Two hours later six baby boys had been born, healthy and well in their mother arms.

Attis - Son of Apilyon and Parrish
Boreas - Son of Bane and Angelica
Erebus - Son of Eros and Sheba
Helios - Son of Trey and Helena
Mors - Son of Hayden and Electra
Pan - Son of Andreas and Petra

The scholars arrived to record the births and noticed all the babies bore the same birthmark, at the same time the scholars were recording the births news of a new prophecy started to travel eventually reaching the scholars ears, could this shared birthmark be a sign related to the prophecy or is it just coincidence
