The New Avenger

New Suit

The first part of this chapter is going to be the school flash back thingy I said I would do so... ya. (If you wanna skip you can. It will kinda be important, but you don't need to read it for the rest of the story to make sense.)

"June get up! It's the first day of school!" Steve yelled.

"Uhg," June sat up in bed, looking at the clothes she had layed out the night before. She grabbed her clothes and took a shower.

Right as June got done changing after her shower Steve yelled, "Breakfast's ready!"

"Give me a minute!" June yelled hurrying to brush her hair and teeth.

In the kitchen Steve set out plates and and drinks. For the two weeks June has been here Steve has learned the she likes chocolate milk in the morning. She's drank it every breakfast they've had together.  

Bucky staggered out of his bedroom, while June skipped to her spot at the table.

"What are we having this morning?" June asked sitting down.

Steve turned around with serving platters in his hands, "Waffles- your favorite, bacon, toast, and strawberries."

Steve set the platters down on the table and sat down.

Bucky plopped down in his chair and took a sip of coffee, "It's too early for this."

"Buck we had breakfast this time yesterday," Steve said putting food on Bucky's plate.

"It's still too early," Bucky said into his coffee cup.

"You have to drive June to school today. Fury said he needed to talk to me," Steve said moving on to June's plate.

"Can't you drop her off before you meet with Fury?"

"No, the principal of the school said something about a parent meeting. I told him I couldn't come. He said that he only needed one parent there, so you're going," Steve started serving himself breakfast.

Bucky sighed, "Fine."

Bucky parked the car outside the school and started to open the car door.

"I don't think I can do this," June exclaimed, putting a hand on his arm to stop him.

"You'll be fine. Besides Peter's there. I bet you'll have a couple of classes together," Bucky said slowly taking June's hand off his arm.

"Yeah. Yeah I'll be fine. I'll be fine. I can do this. I got this," June opened her car door, "Gotta get my bag though."

She reached to the back seat and grabbed her bag. She put it in her lap and sat there for a minute.

"You ok?" Bucky asked.

"Yeah I'm good, let's go," June hopped out of the car and slung her bag over her shoulder.

Bucky and June walked into the building side by side not once hearing a whisper about the Winter Soldier, but once they got inside the whispers started.

"Oh my god is that the Winter Soldier?"

"Who's the new girl? Why is she walking next to the Winter Soldier?"

"Why is the Winter Soldier here? Are we gonna die?"

One voice was different though, "Hey June."

June looked over her shoulder at the familiar voice to find Peter making his way towards them.

"Hey Peter," June smiled.
