Peter
"Hello, 911 what is your emergency?"
"M-my friend just collapsed. I-I think she uh, fainted." I stumbled over my words.
"What is your ad-"
'Silence. The worse thing to hear in a time like this.' A warped voice said after the call had been ended, sending shivers down my spine.
"H-hello? Hello? Hello!" I screamed at the now silent phone.
I looked over at June. I had layed her on the couch so she was off the floor. Her chest was unsteadily rising and falling.
Tony
"Mr. Stark?"
"Yeah kid?"
"J-June she uh, she needs help."
"I'm on my way. Did you try calling 911?"
"The call got cut off or something."
"Ok. Can you tell me what happened?"
"Uh yeah."
************
I let myself in to the apartment and found Peter pacing back and forth in the living room, and on the couch was June.
"Parker?" I put a hand on Peter's shoulder to get him to stop.
"Mr. Stark she was just perfectly fine one minute and then she just snapped."
"I know kid. You told me," I tucked Peter's head into my shoulder. I looked around trying to find May, "Peter. Where's your aunt?"
"Dinner," he mumbled into my shoulder, "I told her I was staying at the tower and she went out to eat. She won't be back for a bit."
"Ok," I pushed Peter off of me, "I'm gonna bring June to my car and then we're gonna take her to the tower. Ok?"
"Ok."
************
June
Everything was blurry. There was a ringing in my ears. I was nauseous. It wasn't right.
"P-Peter?" My voice was barely audible. My throat felt scratchy.
I took a deep, shakey breath, "Peter?"
My voice came out clearer, but it hurt more.
Everything was so blurry! I squeezed my eyes shut.
"June?" Peter whispered.
"Yeah?" I couldn't see where he was. I tried to reach up to rub my eyes, but my wrists were restrained to the bed. I looked around frantically trying to see where I was at.
"June! Calm down!" Peter placed a hand on my chest, but pulled it back almost as soon as he did.
I heard footsteps and saw the out line of a person.
"June," It was Bucky, "Your at the tower. You blacked out, we're trying to find out why."
His voice was calming, like the time I had a panic attack. I practically melted into my bed.
The ringing in my ears had subsided, and was bearable. I blinked a few times and my vision cleared.
I saw Peter talking to Tony. I caught bits of their conversation, but what really stuck out was 'Is her chest supposed to be that warm?'
I did the best I could to look down at my chest. It didn't look any different. It didn't feel any different. I wonder why Peter said that then.
"Is her heartbeat supposed to be that high?" I heard Bucky ask from across the room.
I looked at the monitor to my right. My heartbeat was 110. Not the average heartbeat for a 16 year old girl. Not the average heartbeat for anyone.
My hands started tingling.
Really? My hands have to fall asleep at a time like this?
I looked down at my hands and there was this strange blue light coming from them.
"Uh guys, is this normal?"
"No. Not at all," Tony said backing away from me. Everyone followed him.
I could feel my arms being jerked upwards, but I knew I wasn't doing it.
Uh body? Whatcha doing?
The metal restraint broke against my wrist and my hand shot up in the air.
"What are you doing?" Rang through the air as everyone questioned me.
"I have no idea! I don't have control of my body!"
The other restraint broke against my wrist and my hand shot out towards the nearest person, who happened to be my dad. He grabbed my wrist before it hit him.
"Sorry Dad!"
"I should be saying sorry! I'm pretty sure your wrist is broken, and I just grabbed it."
"I can't feel-" my body was flung towards Bucky.
What is happening?
That was the last thing I thought before I blacked out again.
